This is really a Disney Adult movie disguised as a kids movie. The over the head references are top notch. And an all star voice cast

heh heh heh Then I'm not the only one who thought the same thing! 🙂 While it certainly isn't an Apuleius' "The Golden Ass" it got close enough at times! Still, a very cute movie.

David Spade really did an amazing job portraying a spoiled, teenage brat.😅

I mean in the Emporer's defense he was raised by Ezma the assisstent. Kronk even said "yeah you would think he would have turned out better".

I can’t believe I never heard of it!

Treasure Planet, Brother Bear and Tarzan are all great classics from that same time period

I'll always hope Disney revives their original concept of an epic Inca musical.

David Spade is the actor that voices the Emperor Kuzco. He is a comedian that used to be on SNL. He usually played along with Chris Farley in some movies like Tommy Boy or Black Sheep.

Some good classic movies to react to: Oliver and Company, Brother Bear 2, The fox and the hound, Home on the range, chicken little. Great movies but not as streamline i feel like. :) Great reaction! I love the Emperor's New Groove. They ended up making a sequel, "Kronks New Groove" which i recommend as well.

This movie absolutely knew what it was and just ran with it. And originally this was going to be a serious love story! My favorite Disney movie has always been Sleeping Beauty. But you have to realize the real stars of the movie are the fairies and the villain.

Hercules, Aladdin the animated classics

This movie is funny. Spade does a great in this role.

Another hit classic. Aside from the movie content itself, one thing that I really remember about this movie was the music video "My Funny Friend and Me" by Sting.

I love my Eartha Kitt lol. This is one of my favorite movies and I usually don't like animated films but my little cousin made me watch this and I instantly fell in love with all the characters. So many messages in this movie if you really watch and receive them. Good choice you guys. ❤

Thos is one of my all time favorite disney animated films! It was not well received but it is brilliant!!

Honestly if I were Pacha I’d feel guilty too. You gotta understand, it doesn’t say here but I’m pretty sure he was 17 in this movie, turning 18 😅 so I’m not surprised Pacha didn’t abandon Kuzco in the jungle or that he was that much of a jerk.

Especially since Pacha’s a dad with 3 kids of his own so I can’t help but think he’d be like “I wouldn’t want somebody abandoning my kid in a dangerous situation, no matter how annoying that person found them”. Add in the fact that Kuzco’s parents died sometime when he was very young which everybody knew leaving him an Emperor as a toddler when Patcha was a young boy, leaving him to be raised by Yzma. As we can see she was an extremely self centered woman herself before being fired and already had the plan. Imagine then finding out the person who raised him was also the one that turned him into a llama and was also trying to kill him and anybody in their path...

Those two movies are fantastic.

This is my favorite Disney movie. It’s so different from all the others and in my option ushered in the new wave of unconventional main characters in Disney rather than the prototype hero with no flaws
