Is it possible to build cantilevered rooms out of this material without providing beams, particularly for a short cantilevered floor overhanged by 30 cm?

Usually there is no problem creating cantilevers of that kind, but obviously you need to do the appropriate checks with structural calculations. In any case, if you email us at info@mdue.it, we can send you example pictures!!!

This is good material and innovation, can I screw ang hung for example TV or split type AC or big mirror on the wall using this type of panel?

@@EMMEDUEabs what thickness foam /density and wire diameter / mesh is needed for a single or 2 story house to be built with out columns and beams and withstand typhoon force winds ? I have been told here in Philippines that columns are needed but I suspect their panels are only 2 inch of foam.

No doubts about the structural advantages, but EPS with layers of concrete is a big humidity trap. Are you relying from buildings using AC 100% all of the time?

The permeability to water vapor ensures that mold does not develop inside buildings and environments insulated with EPS. Additionally, please note that the thickness of the panels is variable and is determined only after a thorough thermo-hygrometric assessment, which allows us to assess the potential formation of interstitial condensation. what's the maximum area that one roof panel can cover ?

Hello Ahmed! With the Emmedue system it is possible to produce panels of different lenghts and thicknesses. In the roof, in terms of resistance, it will depend on the stresses it has to bear, that is, loads (as wind, snow, etc.) and the spans (distance between supports). What is the finishing raw materials only cement, sand and conceit or anything else. what size conceit use

Good morning Ms. Rodeza, yes, as for the resistance to earth-quakes, laboratory tests carried out on full-scale prototype houses have shown that the Emmedue structures withstand, without any damage, earthquakes of seismic accelerations superior than those required by current seismic safety regulations. While regarding the resistance to fire, Emmedue panels are made of self-extinguishing expanded polystyrene, which is also perfectly confined by layers of reinforced concrete that cover the sides of the panel and prevent combustion. Its fire resistance has been verified according to international standards through tests conducted in different laboratories. u have to understand stress points and also how different materials combined are more stronger than a pure concrete block, also that metal mesh is jointed with other panels and it makes the whole walls very strong
