The pump is kind of insane right now with all of the giant/goblin giant/golem decks there are running around. Obviously the dagger dutchess has something to do with this, but there is no denying how strong it is.

​@@fulltiltgamingthay should make the health nerf of the duchess a bit less severe like 2830 health and also make the throwing time slower from 0.35 to 0.4 so miner can get the three hit , becoming once again a counter to pump even if the opponent has duchess

@@fulltiltgaming I guess you were right, seeing how the duchess changed the playstyle of the majority of players into heavier and beatdown style decks, having an elixir advantage could help a lot at building pushes to overwhelm the duchess to potentially win the game. But seeing this nerf from a pre-duchess launch prespective just feels odd and strange to me, moreover the fact that I have so experience using the pump and never feeling the effects it contributes to the match since i've rarely seen them in lower ladder...

I think this may be a sneaky buff. Sure it will give elixir less quickly but it will have better elixir trades on spells, so it will overall give more value overtime

The elixir value from spells doesn't actually change. It still generates 8 total elixir, and spell damage still reduces the same % of HP. The only difference is how much longer it's on the map

It became powerful because of the dagger duchess being added and skyrocketed beatdown decks , it shouldn't have been nerfed

The pump was definitely dead a while back because lighting was so strong in the meta. They completely killed it with void though.

Just in case you guys haven’t figured it out yet they release the evolutions and tower troops OP as fuck to force people to buy them before they give it a nerf. Just save your money and wait for the nerf or play another game with less predatory monetization

I play exilir pump with golem rn, and it is no skill. Once I get 2 healers down in overtime, there's no stopping the push. The deck is golem, pump, Evo firecracker, skeleton king(who ill sub for night witch once I get her) bats, e dragon, tornado, and arrows. It is very strong even when you only have 1 pump down in single exilir

Pump honeslty should just be removed. It was made at a time where the devs didnt know what clash royale would become. Its card that just doesnt fit into the game and whenever its good it just causes problems. This along side mirror should be removed from the game.

New card idea: The Airship Elixir cost: 6 Rarity: Epic It's an air card that has twice the speed of the balloon but deals only 1/3 of the damage. It would also have slightly more health. Its main counter would be any sort of air defense. 2 more unique perks, it drops 2 goblins and 5 skeletons creating a massive push once destroyed however no death damage and can attack from a 2, 3 or possibly 4 tile range allowing it to attack not as close to the tower.

Lol no, the meta is cheap spam cycle decks or a hybrid version of cheap spam cycle deck, basically just spam cards and you win, plus it's the reason why giant skeleton got a buff before due to it not doing well at all, but they didn't go overboard with the buff because hybrid cheap spam cycle players would use hog GS again

I didn't say anything about that, I said because you said cheap spam cycle decks are last month like it's a trend when for the last 3 years that was the meta to the point CRL was just cheap spam cycle decks, didn't say anything about beatdown not being overly used... So just make proof reading a bit, plus what about beatdown being over used? Weren't cheap spam cycle decks being over used for the last 3 years? Or we play bais? Like we just got a replacement, one bad deck for another... So nothing changed, but at least beatdown decks have a lot of counters, unlike cheap spam cycle decks, poison or another cheap spam cycle deck, plus you know your deck is OP when the only counter to your deck is another deck with the same gimmick

I feel bad for people who make their own decks and were using elixir pump in one of them, because now even though they were being original and not anything meta- they're the one's who are suffering. Becauase I guarantee this won't effect any meta decks involving the elixir pump, mainly because it wasn't really in the meta 😅. I don't know, maybe they should've nerfed a card that needed the nerf, but thats just my opinion.

Day 5: ew clash card idea: The Reaper. It’s a champion that has a scythe that deals high damage in two swipes but as a high cool down time. It takes 3 elixir to deploy. It’s champion ability is it can go invisible like the ghost for a cost of 3 elixir but doesn’t come visible until you use the power up button for another 3 elixir. It won’t attack anything OR it reaches a tower until you make it visible again allowing for you to decide what it attacks. It has a pretty low health but can barely survive any spell on that is 4 elixir or less. What do you think?

Good nerf, but honestly pump needs a rework imo, a very hard to balance card in its current state. But make no mistake, the reason pump is so strong is only bc beatdown is strong which is only bc dagger duchess counter practically every other archetype simply bc small pushes and chip damage don’t work.

I still have no idea how the pump works. You invest 6 elixir and get about 6 elixir back but somehow you gain a big advantage if left untouched.

You get 8 in total back if left untouched, for a +2 elixir in profit. Basically, as you place pumps down, you eventually gain more and more elixir advantage over your opponent(which eventually result in like 20 or 30 elixir pushes).

@OO-nn3ny even 2-4 elixir after 2 pumps isn't much. But somehow and I'm totally aware there's nothing fishy going on their the pumping opponent has some unstoppable pushes. I mean you could defend anything he puts after the pump for a positive elixir trade and still get overloaded in the end. Its just insane.

@@hanifameen4056 Elixer pump basically allow you to bank elixir for when the you actually want to push. An elixer pump is basically saying hey instead of using 6 elixir now, I'll have extra elixirs for the next push(when I'm ready). And this elixer banking on top of elixir advantage from pumps earlier in the match basically is what makes beat-down pushes feel overwhelming.

I Play Now for 3 years Golem pump and ik very many Decks with this Combination since the Rework of the Pump in 2022 and for me the Pump is Just strong at the Moment BC Beatdown IS Meta and if the Dagger Duchess become her Nerf, Cycle will be better and before Beatdown was Meta, Pump was an Ballanced Card so i think she isnt OP and needs the Nerf

No, they are good, even tho I hate how very good they are but I understand why, because they can't hit the tower and they are a defensive building, but they aren't underrated, they just can't compete in top ladder or ultimate champions due to 80% of players there are using cheap spam cycle decks or a hybrid version of cheap spam cycle deck, so the only buildings that work are Tesla and cannon as they are cheap and the Tesla is small and has a Evo... Bomb tower and inferno are good against beatdown but you rarely see one in high levels of play, but now due to the duchess, they are in use, but after the nerf, you see them drop in use

I agree, basically beatdown decks is no skill is the same as how cheap spam cycle decks they all just place stuff on the exact same place and just dump troops both are no skill but at least the beatdown decks are fun... Also fun fact, if you see someone complain about poison and want a nerf, know that they are a cheap spam cycle player as poison is the only counter for them due to them placing the Same cards on the same spots for the next 5 minutes and never try to adapt

Not necessarily true. Poison Chip is extremely strong IN CYCLE, such as Miner/Poison, and Beatdown being "fun" is subjective. Personally I prefer a Meta with diversity. A bit of Cycle, a bit of Beatdown, and a bit of everything else

You do know poison cycle is not being used because it's not worth to do it as it keeps you open for other cycles deck players, that's why it's all troops and 2 or 1 small spell and a rocket or fire ball, then hog rider and then anything that is spammable and can stall, and reason why beatdown is fun is due to it acting like an RTS for a moment with spells as support, in cheap spam cycle decks, you place the exact same cards on the exact same spot for the next 5 mins, that's why poison works very well against cheap spam cycle decks as they never try to adapt and still continue placing the cards Into the poison, like what? And those that do place it out of the poison just place it at the centre of your push and get murdered... Like you have space... Use it.. and this is why beatdown is fun and people use it even after losing a lot of games with it, because it's fun, and what you would pick? An RTS like push? Or just playing on loop without any changes?

@@wildmischief no, before even thee duchess came out miner poison is getting used less and less for cheap spam cycle decks as basically everyone in CRL is using that and people seeing it's easy to play, so why not, and some show that cheap spam cycle decks can do well against poison miner control, and with the duchess, it's worse now

pump only good cuz of new tower troop and same with giant.why you think they didn't nerf giant and night witch? it's because cards are only good to fight against the new tower troop. If it was really that good, why hasn't it had a 20%+ use rate prior to the dutches? it has the potential to be a good card and somehow 3m never got benefited despite the pump being good in the current meta. strange isn't it?
