Hah. Honey bees are gentle. Great acting for a small story. Enjoyed all of the characters.

Incredible... some of the things that go into public domain! Amazing... Nice find! It's KARLOFF, guys -- Frankenstein's Monster, the actor of a thousand boogeymen and mad scientists, arguably the greatest actor in the history of thrillers/horror movies and certainly one of the most iconic legends of the horror genre! I won't choose between him OR Bela Lugosi as MY FAVORITE horror actor. I like both men for similar and different reasons. I will say I've always appreciated the dark humor that occasionally came out in Lugosi's performances! He had the best lines in the Frankenstein movies where he appeared as Ygor, the hunchback. The greatest icons in horror? In no particular order -- Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney (both Sr. and Jr.), Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing... Yes, it's biased towards the English-speaking cinema but that's still what most of the world knows.

Wonderful to see the underrated Robert Flemyng so young. Love his subtle, lightly sardonic style in his later work.

What a wonderfully obscure TV show, I hope you have some more to share. Thanks for your quality.

Do you suppose the novel on which this teleplay was based, A Taste for Honey, by Gerald ("H.F.") Heard, inspired Hitchcock's The Birds?
