    Love the way this was presented! As an Inventor i have played around with many hall effect thrusters of varying design but this is brilliant! Am I right in suspecting that you are using microwaves to excite the gas inside the internal cavity to create the plasma? It was mentioned that 'any' gas could be used to form the plasma, I have been working on using Nitrogen as a base for plasma with some interesting results..

    Thank you! The seed plasma is actually first created by a hollow thermionic cathode, and then the majority of the remaining plasma is produced by the RMF.
