I love this idea. I didn't know we could change how we sent electors. I'm in for this kind of change, because we can't continue this way. Think of all the time and money we have wasted electing minority presidents who only represent the few.

The Electoral College process is wrong if only 14 states are taken into consideration for the election of the president. That means that the rest of the people vote are not taken into consideration is wrong. One vote per person is how we should select the president, members in the senate, and congress.

Get rid of the electoral college ! When republicans talk and say the " American people voted 45 " it pisses me off cause this American didn't !

It is a ridiculous idea. Each state should be allowed to decide that for themselves. You get 1 person 1 vote, in your own state.

Let the people vote for a change in how they vote, The way it is now the party owns the voting and that is wrong.

Hopefully everyone understands that without the electoral college, every election would be primarily decided by New York and California with any remaining influence centered only in larger cities. Everyone else in the country would be subject to their whims.

He doesn't want to get revoke or ammend the EC through a constitutional amendment, he just wants the Supreme Court to decree that it reflects the results of the popular vote. Good luck with that.

The allocation of those votes is not set in the constitution, each state has different rules right now. Are you visiting here from Russia?

The States are free to set their laws in regards to their electors. So let the States set their laws, there is no need to drag the Supreme Court into this.

Another basically empty House of Representatives... A prayer, A pledge..More formalities, No debate, Adjournment, session closed?? I have a lot of admiration for the UK's Prime Minister's question time on TV in real time informing the public on both sides of a issue.... Our representatives do not want an informed public.

No if the changes he proposes were to be implemented only the liberals in the cities would elect the president and the rural voters (conservatives) in most states would be ignored. There is as yet no change to the electoral college I have heard yet that would be as fair to the minorities of the electorate of any side right or left as the one we have now. Sorry. Ps- sure it gave us trump but we would have never had Lincoln as president either without it!

Interesting scam here! If each state is "Winner take all" then large states like California or New York are driven by the large cities giving a blue advantage as the red areas of those states cannot get the majotity. On the other hand States like Wyoming have three votes even though smaller than rural California counties that do not count as one vote. So there the advantage goes to red. By this there a rough balance of disenfranchisement. But what if you fixed only half of the problem? And made states like California alot votes by percentage but continued to give excess weight to low population states? Then things are no longer balanced but heavily favor red. By focusing only on California and New York ( but not Texas where the advantage is reversed) one can swing the election to a party with no respect for a majoritu because if the majority was counted they would lose.
