Eventually someone will do something like this for any universe... Star wars the old republic cinematics, diablo, Warhammer, all top tier cinematics and no ones taken the chance to make a show with this style. Of course I can see why though, I remember seeing SWTR saying that it cost nearly 6 million dollars for a short cinematic.

You're right. And the most recent expansion is an example of this. Those three were last seen together as enemies during the alliance war, and they reappeared out of nowhere in the last expansion as...perhaps allies.

I would love to see an Elder Scrolls show one day that just explores what the setting has to offer. Nothing fancy, doesn't have to be connected to any of the games. Just a group of adventurers exploring Tamriel in a self contained plot.

It ranks among my top five favorites. It is not part of the Elder Scrolls Online. But I couldn't bear the thought of leaving it out. It does, however, take place in the Elder Scrolls Universe. I'm delighted to trigger that everlasting nostalgia. ✌️

Honestly, seeing these trailers makes me hope that they one day remake the previous entries of the Elder Scrolls series (Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, Daggerfall, Etc...) at a size and scope comparable to what we're seeing here because this absolutely glorious! Imagine playing Skyrim with actually massive cities, watching dragons land inside of them causing havoc as he you have to fight in the streets alongside the guards to kill it. That would be amazing!

I don't think any other game is more modable or expansive ; big reason why I'm so excited for mods like Beyond Skyrim and Skyrim Extended Cut to come out. However, as stated, I would love to see all of them get a proper remaster and scale up from what they are / were.

That is correct! They betray their comrades and allied with the Worm Cult and Malog Bal. After promising them fortunes. They also take part in the battle for the imperial city alongside Daedra and more.

Bethesda needs to include each and every major character from the trailers in the game, sooner or later.

i love that you put it in chronological order, as you may see there are several other renditions of this on youtube now, they cut alot more of the credits to make it more viewable AS a movie. perhaps you'd consider stitching these a little more closely together. missing the odd frame or few seconds would add more to immersion than it would take away. just a thought. thx

They should make an animated elder scrolls series, I wouldn't want the cgi to be limited in any way and you can do a lot with animation

So when the Breton gets put in jail he keeps all his clothes. When I get put in jail I get rags. Damn. 40:37 the Khajit hissing at the dragon had me cracking up. Exactly the kind of thing a cat person would do. I've seen house cats hiss at people several times their size, had me cracking up. 41:52 I was like "Bro, she didn't land on her feet? I don't recall ever seeing her name mentioned. I refer to her as The Elven Hero or The Altmer Hero. I believe she represents the players in the cinematics. In the Summerset Teaser, she's called Altmer Hero. Razum-dar: You carry an Aura of confusion and despair. Tell this one, what did you see? Altmer Hero: I saw a familiar place, covered in strange shadows. Shadows that are in plain view, yet hidden… waiting to pounce on fear. Thank you so much!

in tes blades legends oblivion and morrowind they have white sclera just because skyrim changed it doesn't mean it's the real appearance in the lore there are elves with white and yellow sclera

It's just Skyrim fans in the Elder Scrolls, elves have always had eyes with white sclera and this is further reinforced with the official art of these legends where the high elves appear with white and yellow sclera, it may vary but Skyrim fans who are angry that the elves don't look like those from Skyrim or previous games in the official art. The elves are very different, some with completely golden skin, others pale with almost no gold, some are skinny and others robust, etc.

He survived because the Altmer Hero broke the curse. The thing that withered away was the curse. Look closely, and you'll see a glow of green light before that happened.

The Knight is the invincible Nord...Nord are a Race in the Elder Scrolls Online. "The Nords once conquered most of Tamriel, and as a result, feel a certain entitlement to rule. They broke the power of the Ayleids, nearly drove the High Elves out of High Rock, and conquered much of Resdayn, the precursor to Morrowind. The Nords are excellent with arms. Didn't that Breton turn Undead? How come he is friends with the Nord and Bosmer again in High Isle? and now alive again on top of that. EDIT 26:28 so his curse just faded away?

He was an undead. However, as you can see, the Altmer hero lifted the curse before entering the temple. They joined forces to uncover a plot that threatens secret peace talks to end the Alliance War.

The Nord killed him. The Aldmeri Hero, I believe, brought him back. Since Daedra turned him into a necromancer, he retained some of these powers, which allowed him to transform in the Elsweyr expansion. It's not a prequel. It was also then that the Necromancer class was introduced in the game. You mean the Nord? I don't believe he died in any of these cinematics.

At that point, the alliance between the three factions was already shattered. It comes as no surprise that one would use the other to seize control of a tower in the heart of Cyrodiil. So, the faction that takes control of the imperial city has the authority to appoint their own emperor.

As the narrator mentioned in The Elder Scrolls Online Teaser "Unlikely alliances are forged," I'm pretty sure there was an alliance before that. They were likely to turn on each other because they were fighting to take control of one thing.

Dunno why, but Elder Scrolls finally got way more lore than Warcraft. ;-) Guess it wasn't a mistake to reactivate my ancient ESO account ... yeah!

The Breton's story is complicated. He always seems to be the victim. He was beaten and turned into a zombie by a Dremora wizard. The Nord (I believe) killed him. He became a Necromancer, transforming into a Bone Goliath to fight a dragon. But hey, he always finds his way back. 😄

Rich Lambert: "It's a fresh new take, it's something we haven't done in a very long time, and it's something we really wanted to dig into and kind of go back to our roots on." That's probably the reason those 3 are friends. Rich Lambert is ESO creative director.

It's insane how the original Elder scrolls series has put weight on "less is more" and then ESO came. It just ruined the whole thing and made it into another 'Marvel-like-thing'. I hope Elder Scrolls 6 won't be affected by this inflated ESO series.

The Dremora (also known as "The Kyn") who serve Molag Bal have blue or grey skin and blue eyes, but they can vary greatly in skin tone and eye color. The Daedra are the entities that inhabit the realms of Oblivion in The Elder Scrolls. The majority of the characters in the cinematics are unknown, including that one. He might be a necromancer.

🤦🏽‍♂️my question is how is the dude in the black and gold come back to life after he died then he became the the undead then he came back to life, how he is he back alive that doesn't make sense

The Aldmeri Hero healed him at the end of the 3rd Three Fates trailer. Concerning the necromancer, there is only speculation.

Also Elder Scroll VI isn't ESO either....

Now that you mentioned it, the Orsimer race is nowhere to be seen. Yeah, it's a shame. You never know; Bethesda can always find a way to include them.

There is no definitive answer to that question out there. Many fans, including myself, are irritated that the High Elves do not have golden skin in these trailers. Bethesda or Zenimax refuses to answer that question.

@@knonksann658 Yeah doesn't make much sense. The Dark Elves look about right in the Morrowind Trailer though! That did a pretty good job compared to the way they showed Dark Elves in the sewers with the Nord hero in the base game trailers...yeesh. I mean, there ARE pale skinned/white skinned high elves but they still are goldish/yellow/a bit more alien looking than the trailers...

@@knonksann658 No idea honestly. I think it's probably partly marketing? You know sort of how most people think of high elves or elves in general in fantasy as sort of pale-white skinned LOTR elves rather than these gold skinned, slightly magical/alien looking humanoids

@@knonksann658 Official art friend, have you seen it? There are many elves with pale skin, almost no gold at all, there are also those with white sclera. Elves can vary, as do humans, do they have such a hard time understanding that? Besides, the altmers have always had white sclera in Skyrim they put the yellow variant but oh well

Well, shes a sorcerer who can make force fields, also, in older games spell casting had penalties If you tried in heavy armor, so the tradition kinda sticked
