The Elder Scrolls Lore: Sword-Singers

The Sword-Singers were a Yokudan league of sword experts who later fled to Tamriel, and made Hammerfell their home. Master Sword-Singers called Ansei, had the ability to wield an ethereal and celestial blade known as a Shehai. They were a near unstoppable force of talented warriors who dominated the culture of the Redguards in Hammerfell, but despite that they had quietly and mysteriously died out. In this video I talk about the story of the Sword Singers in Tamrielic and Yokudan history, and how they have shaped modern day society in Hammerfell.

idk if you still play eso but i've been playing a redguard hybrid sorcerer(i know it's not meta but i don't do endgame content) with a storm/lightning theme. i headcanon it that his magic is in tune with the alik'r desert and the summoned swords are akin to shehai but not quite. it's pretty fun, not obliterating everything in my way fun, but still fun nonetheless.

I love the connection between Frendar and Musashi Miyamoto. Musashi was one of the best samurai to ever live, winning some 60 duels in is life time. He also wrote a book of swordplay called "the book of five rings" much like Frendar wrote "the book of circles". I believe more can be understood about the Sword Singer philosophy if one studies his text and life.

the best way to portray them is: Southlandish. If you watch hammerfell on the map you can recognise that it resembles the continent of europe, the peninsula in the south beeing Italy, the west represents the iberian peninsula. And you could even say that highrock in the north looks very much like scandinavia but seperated by borders from hammerfell. It all makes sense.

In truth the lore itself belongs to Bethesda. So if ur going to say that she is within the realm of plagiarism, then wiki would also be in the realm of plagiarism. Wiki isn't typically typed out by creators of said genre. It is typed out by people who manage the sites. But again. Everything on wiki is open source for lore related topics. She is only repeating what u can easily find. Which isn't plagiarism. Notice how her channel still exists. Because the lore is open to be talked about. And open source to be read. How cool it would be to create armies of npc's and defend it or attack/raid other regions with some commanders (companions) and your powers to balance or unbalance the war. How cool it would be to the game to have an A.I. system that learns and evolve on each battle against you, even adding some cool enemy commanders with powers too to match yours and you both having to duel during the wars. Oh man, i really hope bethesda to learn with other games and add some real cool features to the game making it more immersive.

Correct me please. But you mentioned they built Synagogues. Aren’t those the churches for the Jewish people to pray? Or does the word “Synagogue” has its own meaning behind it?
