@@MissSiobhanCatherine Nirvana didn't do anything that the Pixies weren't already doing. I am Gen X and was a Pixies fan first. I thought it was quaint when I heard Nirvana's sound, which in my opinion was just a more pop-ish version of The Pixies sound.

@@seansense There is not even ONE song on "Bleach" that sounds even remotely like The Pixies. I did not think so in 1990 and the song remains the same. The Pixies were WAY more popish than Nirvana. They were not very original themselves. Nothing they did was groundbreaking in any way. Pretty much all indie rock bands of that era of ANY note had their own sound whether it was Butthole Surfers, Sonic Youth, Scratch Acid, Cows, Volcano Suns, Big Black, Killdozer, Swans, Yo La Tengo, Dinosaur, Halo of Flies, Agitpop, Phantom Tollbooth, Helios Creed, Nice Strong Arm, Live Skull, Ritual Tension, Rifle Sport, etc. All these bands were better and more original than The Pixies who, quite frankly, kind of sucked.

He is even trying to copy Cobain's voice when he introduces the band at the beginning. I almost vomited.

Aren't women typically attracted to guys who resemble their fathers in a way? He's obviously a leech who used her to get fame and now wants $25,000 a month from her. Listening to her dads music I would imagine would be depressing to her. He either killed himself or her mother killed him it's not a happy story either way. Everyone see's Kurt as a great musician, but to her it was her dad. Even though he loved his daughter Kurt was not a good father. He was a heroine addict most of the time. I feel bad for in a way. She probably feels like she can't trust anyone.

Always found that strange, but who knows what she’s gone through. Perhaps it’s how she deals with never knowing her father. Whatever happens I hope she gets her guitar back and finds a happier ending than her father had.

Kurt was unhinged, and his music was powerful and beautiful.. and the he lost control of himself. Speaking hypothetically of course, if I had married Frances, I would have made better use of the time and resources. Additionally, it’s doubtful I would have sold her guitar. Because of the former-and it’s uncharacteristic of me to behave like such a piece of shit. His underhandedness is the only thing this cool kid is famous for. I'm a massive Nirvana fan and this song in parts has their sound especially the beginning and the middle. If you knew Nirvana's music well you would hear the similarities. And the song isn't as bad as it's being made out to be.
