The begining of this video showed that it is made by the Uyghur Chinese and Han Chinese students with a Han Chinese advisor in Xinjiang Art Institute. This university is built and funded by the Chinese government. At the end it showed Special Thanks to the Yecheng county Department of propaganda of Chinese government. China promotes Uyghur culture along with other ethnic cultures in China. Xinjiang is a place with multi-ethnic groups coexisting, not just Han and Uyghur, and this is true from thousands of years ago, and this is the character of eastern central Asia. However, oversea Chinese smear China all the time, not just the oversea Uyghurs, oversea Han or other ethnics do that too. I really want to say that they only represent themselves as individuals. No body is entirlly satisfied with their governemnt. If they are in Turkey or other western countries, good for them! Just stop lying to hurt their own people inside China ONLY for some political ambitions or a GREEN CARD!

But some of the comments below made me sad because they confuse arts with their own selfish political narrarives. China promotes Uyghur culture along with other ethnic cultures in China. Xinjiang is a place with multi-ethnic groups coexisting, not just Han and Uyghur, and this is true historically, and this is the beautiful character of eastern central Asia. Even Uyghur, this word originally means a united group of tribes with differences. Hotan Uyghur, Kashgar Uyghur, Lolan Uyghur are different in dialects, traditional outfits, and general apprearences. They also coexist with the Khazaks, Uzbeks, Mongols, and Hans. Each is unique and beautiful, and the mix of cultures happened long time ago. Like the Uyghurs also eat dumplings, and the Han baked bread are likely come from the Uyghurs, etc. I often see oversea Chinese smear China. But it is not limited to the Uyghurs, oversea Han or other ethnics do that too. So, this is not ethnic discriminations claimed by lots of the prapagadists. Nice video about UYGHURISTAN by chinese ccp propaganda. This is not China. This is not an ' Art of life in chinese Central Asia'. None of central Asia is chinese. This is the culture of the Uyghur people's land occupied by chinese. I am not Uyghur, i am not even from that part of the world, everybody knows this. It would be as if Britain made a documentary about India during imperialism and titled it : ' The art of life in British India'.

The directors of this film are Uyghur. They are from the town where the film is shot. The reason why this channel is called the Art of Life in Chinese Central Asia is because if it was called the Art of Life in Uyghurstan or East Turkistan the film makers could be arrested and called "splitists" or "terrorists." If we would call it the Art of Life in Xinjiang then we would be reinforcing Chinese colonial claims, since Xinjiang means "New Dominion." By calling it a Central Asia we are trying to say that parts of this area are quite similar to the other Central Asian Republic. At the same time there are also around 10 million Han people living in this area too, so it is not quite the same as other parts of Central Asia.

China is a melting pot. Whether you like it or not, Uyghur people live with Han and other ethnicities in peace because we treat other with respect and love. Chinese are not the same as the Europeans, Europeans are not good at getting along with different people.
