Wow. After listening closely for a minute, this song does an amazing job matching music to lyrics. He sounds almost like he’s trying to apologize while still drunk, attacking the same person he wronged, defending his self-proclaimed terrible position (so what if I drank too much; this isn’t love!). Listen for when his voice seems to have a sort of radio effect. It’s not 100% accurate, but sometimes it seems the radio voice seems to be the sober shred of reason still left in him. Did you notice how many times he said “this is the last time” as his voice and the order of the music died down? Each time he says it seems hollow. This song does an excellent job of seeming drunken, apologetic, and desperate yet defiant. Drowning in his own wrong, and at the end of the song it seems is the final straw as everything flips out, giving in to drunkenness again.

OMG, i heard this around when it first came out, and then i lost it. I have had lines in my head from it for years, every now and again trying to find it. Lines like "this is the last time". Now finally after scouring through kito music's chill playlist, i heard this mans voice on another track. It clicked and i knew this was who i was looking for. I will never lose this song again, i am so happy.

It's amazing how so many people think like me in so many ways... I love this, thanks Eden. Stephen and Eden singing together. "I've seen you cry but I've never seen you shout like a hurricane." Fumed and Drowning are Perfect but all of his songs are perfect... The instruments damn on point He's underrated He writes his soul and love into his music. We all love him.

the reason your life is so full of negativity is because you dwell on the negatives.. i don’t know you, but the statement “my life has always been so tough & full of nothing but pain”, was enough to solidify that. I hear you, & im sorry that’s the way you’re viewing it.. as i went through a period similar in my younger years.. but you gotta learn to build the positives out of the negatives.. Learn to look at each and every day as a new beginning, & each & every heartbreak as a lesson.. negativity builds & stems off negativity, & we all create our own nightmares.. look at the positives.. focus on the things that mean something to you, and benefit your happiness. Life will forever be negative for you if you don’t learn to find the positives in the negatives. For now, i’m sorry you feel the way you do, & hope this helped in a direct manor.

(TW: Suicidal) At 16 I wanted a way out. I wanted to leave this place called home. I felt like nothing was meant here for me. I was so sure that I wanted to leave. I was introduced to Eden after the suicide of Rosalie Avila (RIP❤️, never forgotten). I am 19 going on 20 in a few months and no matter how bad it sounds. When one door closes, another opens. And this was the opening to my door. Not only did his lyrics make me feel safe but even the beats? Which is weird because some beats are too much for me. I just hope he knows how many people he saved. And I’m one of them. Grateful for his music❤️!!

Recently diagnosed with severe depression, and inherited anxiety. Also working on going through the process of trauma therapy. I strive everyday to become mentally healthy. I'm growing and I'm learning. You don't have the right to assume my situation lol. We are not the same. Everyone is here for their OWN experience. As well as the fact that that you brought god into this. I "worship" the universe. I'm wishing you loads of love and light in your future.

Unpopular opinion that Eden Project tops the newer stuff. Obviously all are very different in their own ways but Eden Project was something else.

siiim, eu tô na mesma, eu gostei muito de the Eden project quando descobri, mas daí parei de ouvir. agora com 20 anos tô aqui de volta, ouvindo essa música e lembrando do tempo que passou, pensando em como eu consigo me relacionar bem até demais com essa música hoje em dia. eu não quero esquecer essa e outras músicas dele nunca, em memória do que eu passei e enfrentei nesses anos. em memória de uma música muito boa.

I found this song right around the time it came out. I was 15 years old and found it while driving around with my best friend. At the time I didn't really understand it just liked the way that it sounded. Around 3 years later I picked up a pretty bad drug habit (daily use of heavy doses of amphetamines) and have been struggling to remain sober since due to losing so many family and friends in such a short time. This song reminds me of what I'm doing to the people around me whether it's friends or family and why I need to try to get clean.

I lost the only man I've loved. It was my fault. This song just puts it perfectly. This is my favorite EDEN song ever, it was the first one I ever heard. Almost a year ago. And I've been obsessed with his music ever since.

Eden is literally one of the deepest artists I have ever listened to. As soon as I heard a song by them I couldn't stop. I can listen to them no matter what mood I am in all I can say is it's perfect.

Everytime the song finishes and i hit the replay button "this is the last time, this is the lassssst time, i swear its the last time" .....3 hours later .....fuck.

Damn I used to listen to Eden every single day when I was going through a really tough time and hearing these songs bring back all the memories

"you'll never bring me down" gives me chills every time...

Eden is one of the greatest artists of our generation and I will stand by that.

Betrayal from someone is painful but you know what's more painful? Betrayal from your own self. It's like, you DROWN your own self. Creating your own monster, and it DROWNS you. In other words, OVERTHINKING or DROWNING. But you know what? How about turn that weakness into your own strength. That's how we should respond every time we stumble. Stumble? Then get up. Being an overthinker isn't that bad at all. Turn that into creativity.

Eden was amazing at Electric Forest this year. I hope he continues on the festival scene.. or really does anything that lets me see more of his shows. Amazing artist.
