Thank you, fleck140. :) I actually had my first Confession and first Holy Communion with him at the Ave Maria Chapel in 1985. My parents drove from Chicago to New York to get it done. :)
He was a one of a kind priest ( And a prophet). He knew what was coming in the Church before most of us could grasp what was occuring. God bless him and may he Rest in Peace!!!
Thank you, Fr. DePauw. I may not have agreed with you on your beliefs, but you have stood up for the true and traditionalist Catholics. God bless you. Tenete traditiones. Truth and tradition.
Please post more from this marvelous priest. We need more like him today in our parishes.
I am able to meet your request. Preparing to upload "Conciliar or Catholic" right now.
My first time to listen to you father.God Bless your soul and help us please overcome this greatest hoax in our belief. I was just born on that time of V2. My sister told me that I was baptized on a Latin mass, this perhaps gave me a sense and feeling of disappoint ment at this time of my life. thanks
Yes, I knew that. May God rest his soul. :)
His plan for use of the new liturgy, optionally, is exactly what was--and is still--needed. Movement in this direction took nearly fifty years to take place, in the pontificate of Pope Benedict. Fr. DePauw only touches upon the problem of accurate translation of the Latin texts--something which, again, it has taken the Church in the US fifty years to rectify. Wasn't it Cardinal Ottaviani who said after Vatican II: "It will take the Church fifty years to recover from this pope [John XXIII}"?
He was ordained in 1942 and he refers to 23 years of prior service so I calculate this talk to have been written ca 1965. I assume it was delivered and recorded within close proximity to when it was written. So 1964 thru 1966 is a good guess. The record folder does not explicity say. In January 1965 DePauw incorporated an organization called the Catholic Traditionalist Movement, it is possible that this speach is derived from that movement. It could also be from Ave Maria Chapel est June 1968.
Lucky you. I never met the man. The recording was probably my Mother's. I wonder if you are aware that he passed away about one month after Pope John Paul II in May of 2005?
What year is this from? Thank you!
Father DePauw, Pope JPII the Great--both died in 2005. We need to hear the truth from some priests who are bold, brave and filled with Roman Catholic zeal!

Pope JP II the Great? Yes greatest apostate pope ever. Spread ecumenism throughout the whole world with such a zeal. The evil zeal.
