do robot mop vacuums suck up some of the moisture from the floor after they mop? if so does it damage the motor?

Mopping robot vacs are designed to deal with water, so there should be no issue with damage. Generally the vacuum entrance is in front of the mop, so as the vacuum moves forward, it vacuums first and then mops right after. It leaves an extremly thin film of water behind - just like regular mopping. The film dries within a coupleo of minutes. These mopping vacuums are not meant to deal with big puddles , but can certainly handle a coffee spill.
Do you recommend this conbo over the Eufy vacuum/mop? What about the K2+ mini? I ordered the K2+ and figured I'd use a swifter or the Kenmore upright vac/mop. What do yoi think?

K2+ mini? Do you mean the $120 OKP robot? It's not competing with this Ecovacs. It won't avoid much and there are no brushes. See here: kzread.info62ziAVUGbfU?feature=share If you want to save money, get a stick vacuum and and a mop or a separate mopping vac.

The X2 blows the dust/hair on the side away so it doesn't fully clean the space. Example shown at 0:43

Most robot vacuums tend do this since the vents are on the side. I haven't tested one yet that addresses this issue.
Ecovacs still use a bag in the base 🤔🤔🤔🤔
