This video is perfect. The synonyms with the sentence makes it so much easier to remember. The little tips and explanations of how the words have been derived or related to another word on the list definitely helps to remember them better.

Interestingly, I just learned another meaning of the word 'supine'. I only knew that it meant lying down facing up. Now I know that it also means failure to act as a result of moral weakness. Thanks Philip for this amazing video. I think adding mnemonics will go a long way in helping one remember the meaning of each word.

I love the long vocabulary list, even at 3 hours I can start, stop and continue until the end at my convenience. Context is helpful, synonyms are helpful, and picture of also maybe a clue on how to remember words is helpful!

Ohhh I don’t think he makes the lists. I think he finds them for us and just reads through them and gives helpful dialogue to go along with it. It would probably take too long to edit the lists. But maybe he will! He’s a smart guy so he’s probably always looking for ways to make his channel better.

I am not american as well, so I quite don’t get the biased view regarding American politics, especially coming from someone so smart. @@TheTestedTutor Uh, you kind of lose me a little in these parts. But one interesting point is when you mention that Republicans question polls and that they use this as an excuse. Well, unfortunately, polls were abysmally wrong in the last two American elections. We've been discussing this in class from a technical perspective: what are pollings doing wrong to be so out of the mark? In another video, you commented about the crazy anti-vaccine movement, which, by the way, was particularly prevalent among Democrats when Trump was pushing for the vaccine to be quickly developed. Anyway, it is just something you may consider, after all, I guess you are creating videos to reach as many people as possible... Keep up with your great work!

A wise old prune once told me quality vs quality matter when studying for GRE ( or most things in life fir that matter ) I’m trying to shoot for words that at are most likely to appear in the test than spending hours on unlikely words … what are your thoughts in this Philip? There are many “ high frequency words “ material out there .. but are they ? How many in this list have actually appeared in the GRE ? Respectfully , subscriber

In my opinion there are between 5000-10,000 higher level words that could come up, before it gets too abstruse. Even my whole playlist covers maybe only 2000-3000 unique higher level words total. The key thing is improving your vocabulary, if necessary through repetition. Then GRE performance is a nice bonus. Realistically most students add around 100-500 words before the exam. But they might stay with you for life, even if only 5 come up on the test. These videos focus on the _most_ likely words to help you spend time efficiently. Hope that helps Cardi
