The Echills Wood Railway (Standard Gauge Weekend Day 1)-(Fri 25th July 2014):
Another year and another 'Standard Gauge Weekend' at Echills Wood. 7.25 gauge engineering excellence in steam & diesel locomotives built and/or operated by a lot of dedicated folk from all over the UK and some (today at least) from across the North Sea in the Netherlands.
This video is not quite so long as my previous two at this event and focuses only on the 'short circuit' & Shed area. The total operating distance is a little over a mile & full details can be found at the EWR website here.... www.ewr.org.uk/
(including the days when Public train rides are available).
Kingsbury Water Park is a day out destination in itself but so much better if you can incorporate a train ride....... Enjoy!!

A K3, a Duchess, 2 Royal Scots, an A4, a Britannia, a New York Central E Class, a narrow-gauge-outline 4wPM, 3 Night Owls, 3 20s, a 66, an NER C1, a 4F, a Black 5, an A3, a Modified Hall, a King, a 14xx and did I spot an A1/A2 on shed at the beginning? Truly astonishing workmanship on display. I have a 5" model of 5199. I can't claim to have built it, though. My granddad built it for me.

Very nice seeing this on You tube, I cant drive. Echhills wood railway/water park looks hard to get to with out a car.

Thanks William, glad you enjoyed it and maybe the many more videos I've done of this railway. Sadly you're right, no nearby public transport to main entrance so a car is essential. There are buses through Kingsbury where you can access the park itself and walk through to the railway.
Great stuff, not a line I know much about. Looks like some good work is going on. Thanks for the vid.

SYKAROST Hi Brian.We had a great day on Saturday and got some good footage,problem is now I cannot load it up to the computer,have tried the laptop and still the same so it must be something to do with the camera a Canon XHA1s,tried getting in contact with Canon but no reply.
