    It is so appreciative to see younger generations to crochet and keep this wonderful talent alive. And, what's more fun is to see is the 60s and 70s fashions alive. Oh, what wonderful fun memories.

    Let me tell you how to avoid the awkward chain 3 and then move on to the next cluster. When you come to that stitch at the end of your row, slip stitch over two times and then slip into the chain space, chain 3 and then do two double crochets in the space below.

  • @mickielegg820

    @mickielegg820

    3 ай бұрын

    Or you could chain5 then move into the next space with a cluster. Continue around and make only 2 DC in last space slip stitch in the third chain of the chain 5 .this should bring you to a space for another cluster.

    Hi, thankyou so much for your video..im totally new to crochet and this is my first cardigan project. I have a question and fingers ctossed you or your followers may be able to answer it. Ive found that i am on row 11 and realised that i wasn't having a start and finish to my rows. What was happening was that i was increading 1 block of stitches each side and having 2 blocks plus 3 stitches at the corners but was crocheting around the hexagon continually! Should this mean im crocheting a spiral ? It looks like a hexagon and the sides and corners look fine but should i unpick to the row where i was steping up to the next row - having a start and a finish to each row? My excuss was i was listening to an audio book and loving that plus crocheting and obviously got carried away ! Thanks for reading and your help :-) x

    I sewed up my sleeves sooner than you did yours, so added four extra rows, still in the granny pattern, along the top middle and bottom and single crocheted it together....but the back of the neck is bugging me! Should i pull the sc out and do a few extra rows down the back? Or will it feel ok when i do a border along the edges (in dc.)? I don't really want to frog the whole thing, but I'm not sure I'd wear it right now.

    Were you able to just one one skein of each color for your cardigan, or did you have to use two skeins of each?

    I missed it somewhere but after your last DC rows did you finish it off with SC in every stitch ( your light green )?
