This is the exact routine I do on my sons curly hair on my with Lotta Body foam which is the same type of product & omg he wakes up with the most BEAUTIFUL RINGLETS THE NEXT DAY!!! They last for days too! To revive it I just spray with water then add a few sprays of Cantu next day curl reviver & a some Marc Anthony strictly curls 7 in one leave in treatment foam. None of these products make the hair sticky or scrunchy just beautiful bouncy curls that last for 7 days! 🩵🦋🩵

I reccomend the Dippity-do mousse. It’s a Canadian brand, but is cheap too. That mousse moisturize and clump your hair naturally.

I couldn’t agree more! I have fine, low density curls and I use the NYM curl refresher foam too. It keeps my hair defined, without weighing it down… But also makes it look 3x thicker because of the volume isn’t being compromised for hold/definition.

My refresh routine is similar! I have a continuous mister and add a generous amount of gel (I use eco gel) to water until it is ‘slippery’ feeling and thicker in the bottle but still sprayable. I usually refresh in morning and at night. Scrunch away and my curls pop again!

That foam recently became my new holy grail when I have been searching forever!!! I do use a gel and styling cream with this, but the next day or 2, I only use the NYMother's foam!🎉

I do this method! Wet hair out the shower, mousse, scrunch with microfibre towel, put in a bonnet until dry. I've never had smoother curls than when i do this method. (2b curls + coarse texture)

The Not Your Mothers curl cream is awesome for wash days (or when your hair is completely wet). Apply, scrunch, and go! Let it air dry.

Oh! Dollar tree also has (please forgive me for this) a curl refresher spray. $1.25 and it’s literally for my hair the best spray I’ve ever used. I can’t get it often because everyone buys it up and I can’t go there often but it’s freaking amazing. I don’t remember the name though 😫 but it’s hard to miss! They only have like…one. Or a few 😂

Sounds like she air dries from what she said.. she scrunches it with the product after getting it damp and then walks away..

As a curly haired girl myself I call bs. No way. I’ve tried that line of product and it’s ok but that one product will not hold all day without frizzing and looking like crap. Nice try though. Show us how it looks after a full day and tell me the same

You can also make a spray bottle full of homemade salt water for day 2, 3, 4, 5 refreshing the curls. Also - I didn’t know I had curly hair until high school. I knew it had one really big ugly wave in it and my mom ALWAYS told me my hair was completely made of little ringlets when I was little and I just thought it grew out. Until I started learning how to do it and take care of it I’d say my hair is just as wavy as this video portrays so anyone who doesn’t think their hair can achieve this, just try! Over a prolonged period of time. I’ve also heard you can absolutely train it to do this. If it has any body at all, it’s worth trying!
