I come from CS2 and I swear, the most difficult part by far is learning all the maps. There are so many and they're so big and full of rooms, also as you can break walls and roofs you need alot of spacial understanding. But now thanks to ur vid I know that map learning gamemode exists, I will def try it thank you

I've always wanted to get into this game so I finally downloaded it and tried it out but I gave up after like an hr of playing bc I've never came across a more toxic fan base. I gave up bc I was tired of getting team killed bc I guess I didn't do something right. Was just trying to learn to play but couldn't bc more than half of my matches they would kill me at the start.

I just started today

I just started playing rainbow six siege about a week ago. I'm honestly amazed by the sheer amount of unique strategies and pixel perfect angles you can play on. I've managed to learn oregon pretty well and I've realized a huge part of the game is map knowledge. I play 10x better on maps that I know well compared to ones that I don't. It's a great feeling to finally know where people are coming from based on sound queues because I actually know the layout. I'm looking forward to getting better and hopefully making my way out of copper 👍🏻

I've been playing the game since launch and these are great tips, keep up the great work. You should defo have way more followers. Also love the aiming tips, I hate when content creators say "do this" when it doesnt always work for players.

I have 200hours and I just got out of copper being often at the top of the leaderboard. I really recommend using a high sens near the one of shaiiko (you should be able to do a 180 with your wrist only and without moving your forearm with every scope) + use C and V toggle lean keybinds to be able to move diagonally and lean at the same time + MB4 crouch Q prone CTRL ping ALT melee E throw drone 3 cameras MB5 voice chat + learn the game by always spawning at the same location and entering at the same door using your first drone to scout behind it when you enter use your drone to go towards stairs and so on + best agents to learn the game are Iana (send your clone before you go anywhere) and Echo by placing cameras on top of stairs and learning to check cameras fast before taking a fight.

Listening to this as an cleaning my room and letting siege download, seems like a wild ride!

I started playing the game 3 days ago due to friends inviting me to try it. Game is definitely a challenge which i really like and offers aloooot of unique gameplay unlike other fps ive played in the past such as cs, cod, bf, valorant. In addition i really wanted to play shield character (due to shields being pretty abandoned concept in fps games, i remember trolling with it in cs 1.6 only) and when i tried Blitz i instantly decided to main him due to the fun factor. I never laughed so hard in video game playing an angry german charging people down. Especially when i am changing between shield sprint and crouching and people are clueless as to where to aim. Thanks for the tutorial cause understanding the maps is something i am extremely bad at.

Arknights player here, since R6 did another collab with AK gives me a feeling that I should really try out this game despite knowing it for several years at this point

I’m new to Rainbow Six Siege and I just downloaded the game. Great video mate.

Ive been playing pretty much when the game came out, but after year 3 i just stopped, and made my own steam account and started from the beginning and realized that im not doing well and seem not to learn well but this video did help me a bit, i just have to learn my aim, get better at movement and get used to the operators.

I have been having a difficult time getting into this game because the only other shooters I play are Titanfall and doom this is very helpful

i started watching r6 like a week ago and i liked the game it looked so fun and simple however when i played my first match it was hell controls were so different it's so complicated there is so many gaps i have to fill and learn about while facing players better than me which just made it even more difficult to learn i guess it's safe to say that watching the game is more fun than playing it

Also for beginners. I’d say to use frag grenades through drone hatches at both bombs also to use capitoes flame and smoke bow use flame before your teammates enter and after they enter use smoke to cover them from death of they’re low yes it’s last minute but it has slightly worked for me

As a new player who learned to play with 2 experienced players among our 5 player squad (others are new as well) and who is starting to really pickup the game. I would like to add a few points : If you are struggling with the recoil of a weapon change the scope (I wanted to play with 1.5 always to give me an advantage, but holos end up being a lot easier to use and therefore more effective for me) Play the operator you want, but stick to it. From the beginning, as I asked my friend what ability each operator has I instantly fell in love with buck in attack and lesion in defense. Some operators can be tricky to start with when you don't know the maps (like buck) but I think it's better to gain experience with one, find a good loadout, get used to the weapons and experiment with the ability and utils instead of changing all the time. One of my other friends struggled to find a op he liked and is not learning as fast as me and the other newbie friend It's also good to have a second more straight forward operator in case yours gets picked up, but really only in these cases. Play very patiently in defense. Don't be scared to hold an angle for the whole round if it's a good one, it's not call of duty, there is no need to rush everything. I find myself winning a lot more situation by just not moving for a while. Just think about not being too obvious or leaving an uncovered entry point in your blind spot Trust your teammates, easier when playing with friends, but it's crucial to not peek the same angle at the same time, it's stupid As an attacker, drone before going in if you are not sure of the enemies positions, especially when you don't know the layouts. I am still struggling with this one tbh (died yesterday because I didn't see a door lmao) And the most important one, linked with most of the previous points is that information is your strongest weapon. I found myself clutching 1v4 situations just because my opponents had no idea where I was while I could perfectly pinpoint their locations. For the rest it's just things that you will automatically learn from playing. Setups are becoming easy to guess now, by just thinking about what I would do if I was an attacker

That’s for the tips when I first started I got zero kills and died all the time now I’m getting 2 kills a game even tho that isn’t much it’s an improvement.

As a sort of new player, when u said im lucky cuz i have deathmatch and stuff like that, im on south east asian servers so not a lot of people play, its almost impossible for me to find an arcade match that isnt quick match

I started playing this game off-and-on when it came out and I stopped playing about the time Maverick and Mozzie (I think they were together....) came out. I just got back into it last week, and it doesn't even feel like the same game. Granted, I'm playing on PC now instead of Xbox. I'm having to relearn almost everything from the ground up, because 1) a LOT has changed and 2) I've forgotten a LOT of what hasn't.

What you said was true. I get killed at times from all angles (didnt know existed) + In R6 I realised shortly that no body part is safe with the angles people use. My feet, the tip of my nose you name it 😂

I had to turn my sensitivity up for this game to manage the recoil. Gonna take some gettin used to. I turn alot faster than i normally would but i can controll the recoil without draggin my mouse off the mat

I've wanted to play this game since release but I kept putting it off due to circumstances and now its been nine years

I need help … it’s say I need to play the versus ai mode to play anything else … but I sit in match making for like 20 min and it still doesn’t load me in

As a relatively new player, (started around 2 months ago; now silver 2 in ranked) I recommend taking time to learn default site setups and pushes by watching videos once you have the basics down (aim, general map knowledge, how to play off utility, etc). A lot of people don’t take the time to do this in early ranks, thus you will be at an advantage if you have this knowledge. Always remember knowledge is power in this game.
