DeJean, Reed, and Brown getting playing time is better than signing Simmons or any other safety

As far as the free agents Howie really did an amazing job. There haven't been any clear "could have gotten someone better" moves. Seems like we got the best available for most if not all the signings.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see some little white guy (with MOTT on the back of his jersey) running drills with the EAGLES during Training Camp 😂

Don’t forget they’ve been giving Maddox a lot of safety snaps during camp. They might be looking to move him there and even he said himself the transition has been easy since the slot is very similar

I would love to have Simmons join that secondary. I love Reed, but having a few guys around who are not only proven over time, but also familiar with Vic’s defensive philosophy just sounds really good to me.

I feel howie is going to wait until well into training camp to make any moves, especially with Simmons

I’m really excited about our bench players stepping up this season and proving we have depth. Well coached teams are always deep.

Honestly depending on what he did I wouldn’t mind Renfrow being our number 3. I feel he could make some big plays for us!

With everyone Healthy Justin Simmons is the best Safety. He's an ALL PRO he's been the best safety the 3 yrs in the NFL Reed I love him but he's not in Justin Simmons league. Reed can tackle he can hit but HE CAN'T COVER.. Justin Simmons can hit, tackle, get turnovers and HE CAN COVER!!!! What are we talking about? CJ and JS would be one of the top three safety trios in the NFL.. we're trying to win a Superbowl we should have the best at the position. Now imagine Reed being depth!! Make our team so much better and it makes us deep in case of injury. JS is an All-Pro in Fangio's Defense so the learning curve is better for him than it is for Reed I want to win I want the best people playing Corner the best people playing safety the best people playing linebacker in the best people playing defensive in and tackle if we have a chance to get Justin Simmons we need to do it we have the money the man is a captain in the defense and he's a seasoned veteran no slacking go get him!! Don't give me the Sidney Brown excuse he's coming off a terrible injury and even if he's ready game one is still takes a while to get back to 100% and even if he was 100% he's not better than Justin Simmons Sydney and Reed should back up CJ and JS that makes us incredibly strong

I know that’s not the ideal place to find an immediate impact starter but there’s gotta be some teams with some really tough decisions during cut time that can be better than what we have at safety or linebacker depth

Justin Simmmons For Sure!

Philly isn’t going to go with older players anymore unless someone gets hurt. They would prefer to give those reps to Blankenship, Brown, or even CDJ because they have more upside. They don’t want to slow down the development of young guys for players on one year deals. Simmons won’t get a long term deal in Philly.

Never set at dline..aleays add talent to the line to keep a fresh rotation the whole game. Wear down the oline and win in the trenches. I would also trade for metchie or renfrow..cant go wrong with either one at wr3

If Lockett has any say, I doubt he would come here to play WR3...he's literally been one of the most consistent WRs of the past 6 years.

They have questions at RG and a C who hasn't started at center in the NFL yet While DG is a good TE, he has missed multiple games in consecutive years now, his health is a concern The DL is a massive question mark...Can Davis play at a high level? Can Carter play at a high level all season? Who is going to be the lead pass rusher? Can they stop the run? The secondary did add young, but very much so, unproven talent...CJGJ is a good addition but he hasn't played a full season in YEARS. Slay is older and hasn't shown he can play a full season at a high level in recent years. Regardless of how much you play cheerleader, RINGO was extremely underwhelming last year and has a lot of progress to make if we want to call him a "starting CB" Also, the fact that Bradberry is still on the team makes one believe that the young talent isn't developing as fast as coaches are expecting. Lockett isn't coming here to be WR3, Reed isn't a starting caliber safety
