Randy had a beautiful voice. Cried when Glen died & I'm not an emotional woman. I learned how to play piano & guitar & write my own music.
Legends never die. Eagles always fly high.

Maybe not from the start for me... But they did have SOMETHING! By the time "Desperado" was released, I was a grudging fan and, after that album, a big fan. Of course, when Joe Walsh (who was already a hero of mine) joined, and the band made "Hotel California", I became a total fan. Has there ever been a better band? There are others I love just as much, but Eagles. Eagles!
Randy Meisner was one of the best singers ever. Up there with THE BEST, Sam Cooke.

Yes, Sam Cook was one of the great ones. I knew Johnny fortune. He was my guitar teacher and best friend for 30 years he knew Sam Cooke. He played with him on an album called chain gang. Johnny Fortune was his guitar player for that particular album and you’re right Sam Cook is a beautiful Singer 👍🏼😁❤️ love your comment👍🏼
Perhaps someone should tell Don Henley that being a KZread blocker will only lead to The Eagles being forgotten by the younger generations.

We lost two great musicians when they passed away, they passed away very close together, and the funny thing about it they were both bass players, or the Eagles. I always thought Randy Meisner, and Timothy B Schmit had beautiful voices. I know Randy was sick, but Glenn Frey insisted on him, saying take it to the limit again this started a big argument, and Randy was fired from the bat. I never thought that was fair. I thought it was very in jest of Glenn Frey to do that, I always thought a lot of Glenn Frey but after that, I didn’t think so much of it anymore. Other than he was a fantastic songwriter and guitarist. That’s the only reason I liked him after that I’ve always loved vehicles as a group, but they were great. A great band just like the Beatles were, I miss good music. I don’t even listen to music anymore not today’s music. It really sucks. We’re losing a lot of great musicians because we’re all getting older including myself. Thanks for the video. Have a great day.👍🏼👍🏼😁❤️🎸

Randy wasn't fired. He quit. He walked away when the Hotel California tour was over. They did fire Don Felder.
