hey I don't blame you man. not only is maintaining it a constant thing, but you were playing catch up from where the previous owner left it. i imagine once you would be at the maintain it part its not that bad, but you know got to fix everything the previous owner didn't do.

Hey, I bought my E36 M3 last May and have been following since your first vid since I'm from Boston. Mine is a California car so no rust but needed a ton of deferred maintenance so I've spent around 8k this past year...These things are expensive! I've thought about selling mine a lot but every car I'd want would be kind of the same deal (trading one 90s shitbox for another). Figure I'll keep the thing and eventually maybe I'll break even in 2035 hahah. Enjoy the GR though, very cool replacement.

Ugh, sorry to hear. Unfortunately these cars are no longer daily. Such a great car tho but should be a weekend warrior/track or retro bimmer show only.

GR Corolla --- worthy ride. Got a low mileage, clean, garage queen E36 ///M3 coupe … that’s what one needs to find. Absolutely trouble free.

As a college student also owning two e36s, I hear ya man. They are rewarding but nerve-wracking especially when class is top priority, reliable transportation is needed, and finances are tight. Best of luck with the new cars!

Sad to see this video... but it is the right decision for you, maybe in the future you'll come back with another e36 or maybe e46 :) I bought an e46 6 months ago and I had almost no issue with it, never viewed the service for other things than oil change:))

True true. I like the size, handling, steering feel, engine power / torque curve, sound, and both interior and exterior looks for the age.

Yes I use the sony a6400 with a tamron 17-70mm lens. I put a link to it in the description, has all my gear there!

Just make sure you don't lose that GR Corolla, man... what an amazing car it is. Take care of it!

oh completely forgot to mention that. Bought for 11.5k on cars and bids, sold for 11k, spent around 2200$ on repairs and various needs in the 4 months :/ it probably needs another 2.5k to be in clean shape tbh

@@OptimisedTutorials Yeah I had a lot of people interested in the car but not interested in owning one. More people going for e46s is what I heard. My car sat for sale for 5 weeks before any real buyers interested.
