    In the beginning years ago when I first found Dust I thought their movies were exciting syfy. Now almost every one loses my interest in the first few minutes as it becomes obvious it's just another soap opera of human relations.

    Funny old age never changes our kids forget about us after a certain age. I watched it in the late 1980's in my 20's and now in my 60's they still put their parents in old folks'homes and forget about them. It will be the same in the future also. So 100 years from now even 50 years kids don't forget your parents don't throw them away.

    What...??? At 3:26, the sack is draped on his right shoulder, but just four seconds later at 3:30, it is on his left shoulder. Are we supposed to believe that he changed it over that quickly? Then he plucks the only living thing around out of the ground, effectively killing it, as he also casually does to two of the people in the camp. Why didn't he try and save the little red flower? Maybe he doesn't deserve to find his wife & son...maybe he is the reason they are gone in the first place. This is as likely a reason as any other possibility.

    Picky picky picky its a low budget production no a multi million dollar hollyweird piece of crap I question why do you watch Dust a platform for new writers producers directors and film technicians if you are going 2 judge the material you see through such preconceived lenses? Before Dust and a few other uTube channels here these uploads would have never been seen. In having said that you have a right 2 your opinion could I suggest instead of being critical look at the and consider time and work that a small group of people dedicated themselves 2 in bringing this 2 fruition perceived faults and all.

    Geeeez..... It's a tiny indie film.....u go do better then on a shoe string budget and limited time and resources. Some people really need to pull their head out of their asses and enjoy the world and just accept some things the way they are, even with their flaws. Besides, even the biggest squillion dollar productions have mistakes....no film is flawless or perfect.

    32:00 this bit was hilarious. making it sound like the baby's skin color and not behavior itself would be the cause of those statistics 😂

  • @amandatyler4324

    @amandatyler4324

    2 ай бұрын

    Well whether you like it or not, there IS a very clear correlation between skin color and being convicted of a crime, for example. We know this because there is a disproportionate number of blacks in prison. No matter the reason, the point in the film is still valid. It doesn’t matter if it’s they’re more likely to commit a crime if they have darker skin (as you’re implying; which to be fair, there is some validity to that), or the system is rigged against them, either way they’re more likely than a white person to end up in jail. Therefore if a parent has the choice, and they want to give their kid the best chance in life, they will almost always choose lighter skin. Also I am just curious….you said they made it sound like it was the color or skin and not the behavior, so how would YOU have presented this information/statistics to the family if you were in that position? To me it looked like she was just stating facts, but I am genuinely curious to know what you think she should have done differently.

    Sure. Let's throw a monkey wrench into the idea of parenting. When parents have a child, they've just been dealt the Mom and Dad hand of cards. You make the proper choices after there are born. Not before.

    I used to really enjoy Dust. It's gone so far downhill, I can't bear much of it. I'm a real Sci-Fi, but there's damn little of it around here. It's woke, dull, plodding, worn out themes, ie. post apocalyptical drivel, and juvenile, mostly. Too bad. Creativity has died.

    NO CLOSED CAPTIONING 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 1 - Ugliest fake beard I ever saw! How could the guy with a rifle miss from that close? I guess there must be a story line or message there somewhere???? 👎👎 2 - They couldn't find a real mask for Grandmother to use? Another with no apparent story or message. 👎👎 3 - I guess it's easy to tell what the message is here! 4 - Could only hear a small percentage of what was spoken, so no closed caption made this one a waste for me. Don't know if there was a story or message???? One thumb up for special effects and costumes. 👍 Two thumbs down for everything else. 👎👎
