They sound better now than 1958. I'm saddened so many people don't appreciate this wonderful music 😢

Agree with you 100 ? So many memories.
I’m 72 years old and I think one of the greatest gifts that I’ve been given is to be able to live through seven generations of music, children, people.

This song reminds me of someone who was in love with me he use to sing this song to me when i was 17 years old now he doesn’t want to talk with me anymore I haven’t seen him in over 50+ years. He did tell me back then he would always love me I would love to speak with him once again in my life im 78 years old and he’s in his 80’s . Life is a journey people are peculiar. 😅😊
I'm 89 years old and this song always reminds me of high school and my girlfriends they've now passed so it's a happy and it's a sad song for me a lot of good memories so thank you for the video.🥰🥰

Get on you stud with all your girlfriends id love to been around them days the music best never get anything like that again
Like my Grandfather used to say….. They don’t make‘em like they used to ❤
I love this song so much you belong to me. I love the Duprees all the songs. I can listen to it all day long, which I do.
This is the best performance of this song that I’ve seen! Simply Phenomenal.
This is the best rendition of this 1952 Jo Stafford song, rerecorded hits by The Duprees, and by Patsy Cline. This is the Duprees best performance of this song, and this is the best quality recording of this song. The audience applause and participation just adds to it (in this case).
Brings tears to my eyes, reminds me of the past too,68yrrs old
They sound fantastic!!🥰
🥰 wow! Beautiful song 🤩 all the feelings in a single melody ❤
The young don,t get old, they get better. 2023 and beyond .
Now that is such a great opening to this song and instantly put's you in the mood for romance. ❤
I met these guys on a Royal Caribbean cruise. I will never forget how Tony Testa sent my Dad an autographed picture and really nice note after I told him my Dad is a huge fan of theirs ❤
I Love this music in the 70s and now 50 odd yrs later we in the UK have a Rock n Roll doo wop.revival band called Showaddywaddy they help keep this music alive they are Brilliant.
Duprees, one of the great singing groups of the 1950's "doo-wop," music generation, that I nostalgically remember, and that Jerry Butler ("For Your Precious Love") hosted in the 20th century Philadelphia, PA T.V. artists sessions, memory lane regalia, when "Doo-Wop," music became the bright light genre of romance and love. I remember them the 5 Satins, the Flamingos, the Impalas, the Elegants, the Pastels, and many other highly talented groups, musicians, and vocalists that sung and performed from the heart with deep emotional feelings.
Thank you user I don't know your name Love From Russia and love to you from California❤❤ some of the original Duprees Have Been replaced because most of them have passed on cuz they would have been my age by now and some didn't make it as far as I did my 90th birthday will be May 2024.
What a great and unique voice
Reminds me of how much I miss this music..Thank you for keeping it alive on these stations.❤
Just brilliant just shows you. Ya get better with age like a fine wine xxx
Here I am again I love them and the better the older the are xxx

I'm 72 and these guys, IMO, are even better than some of the originals, both the lead singer and the backups and their arrangements! Just excellent to keep this great music alive forever!

Class went out the window the good old days the best 😅
Ya know beside being a great redo of a great song, something emerges from this perfotmance-pure class. Man these guys were great!
Hey Dave. Pardon the correction but we started making our hits in 1962. These guys that are around today never had a hit record. All they have ever done is ride on the coattails of The "Original" Duprees Joey Canzano also known as Joey Vann, Joe Santollo, Mike Arnone, John Salvato and Tom Bialoglow recorded the hits that "We" made famous on Coed Records. So the next time you hear one of our "Original" recordings give credit to where it belongs. With the original Duprees. Tom Bialoglow Founding Member of The "Original" Duprees.

Me too. When I was an young teen I had a girlfriend play it on the piano every time I went to her house. Hearing it always made me feel I was about to remember something, still does, but I never have remembered what it was I was about to remember.
This guy is handsome as hell! And his voice is spot on!

Awesome group! Michael F Kasre, author of The Way We Were - The Baby Boomer Story, forward by Tony Testa of the Dupees.
The great good ok days I miss them
Still looking for the video of this performance where Tony says "Until the end of time this song will always sound just like this " Couldn't be said better
Aiiii ammmorr🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
My go to song on a friday night and remember the past
Beautiful, great voices !!!
The Duprees were the best

Just sensational! That ending harmony at 2:36 just gives me chills. Tribute to a bygone era.
Baby Boomer songs live on and on.
I love this music..Good memories
Hey Pete. If they truly wanted to honor us they would tell it like it is. They are not The "Original" Duprees. That being the truth of the matter they should be saying that they are a "Tribute To The Duprees". There are "Elvis" imitators all over the world doing shows but none of them claim to be "Elvis" unless they want to be ridiculed and laughed at.
The best
My favorite ❤️
Love this
I think this is Great😊
Excellent record Doo Wop music 🎵🎶🚀🎶 is first 🥇 class don't make em like they used to from a Teddy boy 🎵🎶🚀🎶 📻🙏🤍💛💙
Play this songif you want a little
Jersey Boys at their best
Fantastic
Brilliant 🎉
I was in the navy and home on leave and met my sister best girlfriend who was a a year older than me. She asked me out for a date and we spent 2 weeks together before I had to be at my new station in San Diego. She flew out a month later and spent 2 weeks with me. A month later I got a dear John letter. If she would of waited I would’ve of married her after my discharge. She was a model but it didn’t happen,, broken heart !
Any of my friends , he is referring to a different Dave. Not me
Check this out with a good pair of headphones 👍
Lindademais❤
I know that the video is good when the commenters are posting their age.
Hi Bernadette I'm an 89-year-old woman I guess you thought I was a man saying my girlfriend's but that's what we called our friends in school back then I guess you have to be careful what you call anybody anymore. LOL
Is this the original group? In answer to my question: NO. Joseph Santollo died on June 4, 1981, due to a heart attack. Joey Vann died on February 28, 1984, due to a heart attack. Michael Arnone died on October 27, 2005 Mike Kelly died on August 7, 2012. This group: "....Tommy Petillo, Jimmy Spinelli and Shawn Stevens who are todays Duprees for more than 40 consecutive years of stage performances. " From their website.
Is he the same singer who sang that song in the 60's???

@tombialoglow549

No. Definitely not. Joey Canzano also known as Joey Vann was our original lead singer. And Richie was not an original either. Along with Joey was Joe Santollo, John Salvato, Mike Arnone and myself Tom Bialoglow. We were the "Original" hit makers on Coed Records. Bare this in mind. Original groups cannot be substituted, duplicated or replicated. The guys that are around today never even had a hit record.
I thought that was Tony Soprano
Nice . TJ got greedy and ruined this video with his name taking up 1/3 of the screen. Good job. Now find the ones with Richie in the lead. They are good also
Music today is worthless no class
Where is the video where Tony says UNTIL THE END OF TIME,THIS SONG WILL SOUND JUST LIKE THIS....What an intro that was. Can somebody put that back up ?
Love this song ty ❤❤❤
