Im almost 49 now. I remember watching the pilot episode when I was 7 years old and never missing a show after that. Everyone involved in the show was so nice and a sense of down home purity. Wish I could've met the cast. Here it is 2021 and there still isn't any shows like it.

I totally agree with you. I'm 52 and as you , I saw the pilot episode when I was 8,and after that, I was hooked from being to the end. The 70s early to mid 80s were the best years of my life with the exception of May of 91 when I,got the honor to meet and have dinner with Valerie Bertinelli, Eddie Van Halen and there Son Wolfie .He was only 2 months old and that would not have happened if My Mother (God rest her soul) had not worked and been very close friends with Valarie's Aunt. They worked at the Division of Revenue in Wilmington, Delaware. And everyone one who knows about Valeries history,She from Claymont, Delaware only 20 minutes from were I use to live. I'd post a picture but this page has to do with the Dukes of Hazzard. I actually thought this was a new page on KZread but as , I was reading some of the posts, I looked at the dates some of these questions and answers were anywhere from a year and a half ago to 8 months old. Wierd that is my phone, Sometimes I don't see any of this stuff until a couple of weeks later to several months down the road?

I discovered the Dukes back in the early 90s as a 5 year old kid. Became obsessed with the show to the point I accidently taped over some home videos with the Dukes! Watched it for probably a good 10 years or so. Fast forward to 2024 I have two boys 1 and 3 years old. I decided to introduce them to the Dukes and oh man it's like being a kid all over again. Did I mention they both love it? There is just nothing like The Dukes of Hazzard. Not to mention my job is going around filming classic cars, having people tell their stories and I'm also restoring a 1972 Nova. Thank you for the greatest gift from American television.

I can remember they brought it back on TNN about 1995 or thereabouts as part of promoting the show "Prime Time Country". That show started off with Tom Wopat as host, so therefore the connection with the Dukes program. Tom did not last on that show, but oddly enough, the revival of the "Dukes" seems to have no end in sight.

When John talks about the four door car being upside down he says "baseball cards" but I have no idea why. If you have seen the movie you might have heard these two words. If you watch the movie listen for it.

Many thanks for posting this. Didn't know this was floating around. Was this ever aired, or was it a special filmed to promote Faith Works? Either way, it was a great look at the filming of the reunion movie.

Hi I dont know alot about it sorry, But i put a lot of work into hunting it out when finding it was around in the late 90s..Its was never aired as its unauthorized. I am a big fan of the TV show and more so the stars init to the fans who keep it alive. What you see is it in its completion with advertisements that gives a real feel for Johns Values as a person. I found another oddity today (Direct Debit, General Lee , uk advertisement 1995 ). Take care Jase

The issue with using rear screen video projection, is it looks sooooo fake. Well, because it is fake. That's why I think the first 5 episodes filmed, were the very best of the Dukes.

Glad he was honest about what he was driving. Because it surely was NOT the same car from the show. It is however, arguably the best year of the Chargers. He has it right. lol (except the engine choice being the 318 lol)

it was cool to see john, although more of the rest of the cast would have been even better, it s sad that many of them died by now. still, with a good writer, it s possible to make more material that follow up the show, a minimum of the cast, the car, and the town and it works.
