this base will let you down, very nice production of the video but the base is weak.

I just started rust and this video is perfect. Teaches me how to make nice peeks, turret placement, externals, all kinds of stuff I see in rust yt vids. It’s so strong and so beginner friendly. Dust a real one

I loved this base! I made the loot room an open core design with turrets by expanding triangles off the square loot rooms and going up a half wall. a few odds and ends to make it so if I was getting onlined (if that ever happens lol) the base would become harder to raid unless they pummel to core at range. You continue to inspire me to build more than my basic 2x1 or 2x2 base and for that I thank you!

One thing is that your designs are generally awesome, but the way you go through and describe, the speed at which you do, and how clearly you move making it easy to follow is simply on the very top of Rust content creators! I watch more rust build videos than I care to admit, and yours are just top top quality! Keep up the great work :)

This base and video quality is amazing! Small addition: If you upgrade the roofs above the window frames on the roof to Brutalist (DLC) or Shipping Container (DLC), you can still place the wind turbine afterwards. You can also change it midway through wipe :)

Really like this! As a solo player I personally love 2x1 starters to mains. Will be using this with some additional personal flares. Great job!

I don't say this lightly.... I watch a TON of base builds from many different builders and I am pretty picky on what I like, but you are THE best builder on youtube period. Every base you build is insanely well thought out and creative. You don't just spam a million low effort builds out every other day for the sake of quick views, but instead put time and effort into every build! On top of all of that, your editing is awesome too! Keep up the amazing work man!

@@Dyils I know you might be new based on this comment but he has external TCs. So even if raiders picked the perfect path (which I haven’t had happen once since I’ve been building this) they still have to spend a lot more boom to loot the whole open core. Especially when you start putting armored doors and garages all over. And the main TC won’t help them without spending boom on the externals. For it being such a small and easy to build base, it’s insanely good bang for your buck.

I've now built this base 3 times. And will continue to. Cause I haven't been able to actually utilize it... Fuck off liners. But so far all 3 times I was offline they blew straight through to TC... Luckily I had practically no loot cause my sole focus was building the base. Spent everything I had. So they all wasted a lot to get nothing

I placed my battery where he did in the video. And seeing as all 3 times I was raided they went directly to TC, I will be sure to spread all my loot to upstairs loot rooms. And externals. And bedchambers and such. Nothing will be in TC room

This might seem insane, but some of us genuinely don’t care if we get wiped… It’s part of the game. I have about 6k hours in rust. I’ve only still had my main bag in rust maybe twice after getting offlined. It doesn’t matter how big your base is, if people want in.. they will get in. I’d rather build this so i don’t have to farm all the time.

Awesome piece of advice, he mentions the single double door on the roof as a peak to compensate for a lack of turrets early game, but if you replace that sheet metal door with an armored door late game, the position aligns perfectly with the full view of the hatch, so you can get a super tiny peak for extra manual roof defense that has the advantage of way more health to keep you safe while peaking

As per usual a great design and very easy to follow. Made a little tweak to the squared loot rooms by adding a half floor (using half the squared honeycomb) to them to make it a 6 box loot room, because who doesn't need extra storage right...

✊️🤓 I found the triangle on the shooting floor to be in the way and went with alternative. Also, with the perfect placement of furnaces, you can create an additional 4 shotgun trap funnels. Great base and a fun build!

Production, base, asmr narration, and quality are insane.

I have made this base recently and changed from 2 ext TC to 4 ext. Placing the large furnance was tricky without the frame connecting the gate house to main. Additional turbine on ext TC and placed large battery in compound bedroom, replicating same footprint as the gatehouse but used the triangle to place the battery.

Going to build it today. Whish me luck... I love this design. Thank you.

That base looks cozy af! My PvE server force wipe is in 3 days cant wait give this a shot. Ive built your Duos Den, Mini Yeti both have been awesome! Duos den someone said was a pain in the ass when i got offlined during purge said Turret peeks were insane. 25 c4 and 30 rockets to get to the core.

I don’t have much to say for this build but the words, I love it…perfect for a solo/duo even trio wouldnt try a quad but it has a lot of space nice peaks and the second floor gives it that open core feel

content is getting really good man

love this build (like the previous one) ; just finished it and made some modifications by adding some triangle ladder hatch and add more shotguns traps for extra protection but it s very nice like that! The only one thing I could say is that u say to place your tc in a corner where if u die with the doors open it can be destroy from the outside so maybe it s better to put it in the other corner but it s just a detail.
