The Druid's House - Survival bushcraft Optimal Comfort skills 4 a little house in the woods

Ойын-сауық

is the small house that you need in the woods.A small house built with materials found in nature. The main thing is to find extreme solutions when you live in the woods. This is One of my most beautiful achievements. I repaired the chimney in full I just covered the roof with grass. Clay protects from water but not for erosion! A very good idea for resistance.I plant
dandelions in front for my wild salads I'm very tired and I didn't have time to cook last night. See you soon friends and forget not to leave a comment and a like if you have any questions do not hesitate! See you soon! I respond to comments within the limit opportunities

To add to my comment, few years back, I went back to the forest thinking I will never find back my childhood shelter. Guess what, after more than 20 years, the shelter was still standing. Very proud of our achievements 😁

I think the moss planting on the roof is very good because it has a cooling effect in summer and a warming effect in winter. If you also build a rain gutter with a cistern, you will have high-quality water for cooking, drinking and cleaning. Try to find an old bath stove (as often found in Germany in the post-war period). Then you have contemporary comfort in nature.

It gave some kind of comfort and for some, like me, wishing we can have this experience for ourselves at the same time keep living the way we are right now. Might as well we build this kind of build on our back yard too, no need to leave our comfort zone but still can enjoy this too.

I suppose you could have a French drain around the parameter of the foundation. My house sits on one and I’ve never once gotten water in my basement, so the same principle might apply with this house. I’d love to hear what he’s actually done though

This has become an exulent home. I used to visit an old gold panning site from the 1840s, not many know it now. It's deep in the bush in a narrow gully. It was once a hotel but all that is left is an old chestnut tree. I would go there each Autumn with a couple of old prospectors and spend a week panning and exploring during the day and in the evening we would roast chestnuts and eat them with butter washed down with port. I live a long way from that tree now but each Autumn I think of it and the stories it could tell hidden deep in the Buckland valley. No youtube back then but Australia had just got this "thing" called the internet.
