Can you guys please run the audio through a noise cleaner cuz it sounds like someone is washing plates in the background with all the banging and clanking at points during the podcast. Adobe podcast and premiere pro beta have an AI noise cancelation feature.

Such a sick finals match, was so happy to see Riley get beat by Zane and RR. They BALLED out! You all did. Best mlp so far imo

Congrats, Anna! Regarding underperformers, Anna Leigh has to be near the top. She went 2-4, including two losses with Irina. One of the women's losses was bad and her mixed game with Thomas Wilson was a very bad loss as well. That is unacceptable for ALW. While not Premier, Rob Nunnery has to be a top underperformer. He was the #1 pick in Challenger and went 1-5 in Atlanta. His mixed record in MLP this year is 1-12.

True, watching the WD I didn’t feel the losses were largely on her though, the mixed with Thomas was for sure strange. Definitely correct on Rob, but considering his mixed record in season 1 I do not think he should’ve been taken first overall. W the shock winning 3/3 WD matches they rly should have done much better. Good points!

​@@annabrightpb I should note that AL/Irina's bad loss (21-12) to Callie/Allyce, in a must-win match Saturday morning, was not streamed due to technical issues on court 3, so I have no idea if one of AL/Irina was bad or if they stunk equally... or maybe Callie/Allyce were just on fire. The thing about MLP is you only get one game. If you come out flat and your opponent is hot, you are probably toast. In PPA you have two or three games to get into a groove and make adjustments. Maybe AL/Irina will gel better in the next two events. AL and Hayden were not good in Mesa, but they were good in Daytona and great in San Clemente, so one event does not define the entire season. Just going by record, James Ignatowich also really underperformed with a 1-5 record, but that should probably come with an asterisk because James had to play against Ben and Riley a combined four times. Most players would have a poor record against those two. I'm sure he'll be better in the next two events.

Zane is so possessed …if Deadpool played pickleball Those 2 dig's in that one rally in that one must win game. Then he falls back, hits the back wall. I swear flames came out his eyes Moral to the story, bring out your inner-demon and lay claim to what is yours

Good podcast and wrap-up! Yeah Anna, no sympathy from us seniors, being "mid-20's"...hahaha! Oh to be 24 again but knowing what I know...whoa.....enjoy your youth while you can!!! Someday, you'll look at this podcast and say, "What in the world was I complaining about?!?!" Mark my words....Ernie Medina, Jr. (58 and can't wait to age up into the 60+ division!)

@Anna - Blaming Collin for Columbus' 1-2 record in mens was a bit of a miss on your hot take. Sounds like you saw the standings but didn't see their games. JW looked completely out of it the 1st two games and was nowhere near his usually dominant self. He had probably twice as many errors as CJ and wasnt putting away a lot of balls he usually does. They just had no chemistry in mens and JW looked very tentative. Not really accurate or fair to put that on Collin, and definitely unsupported to predict he drops to Challenger from that (especially given the challenge of playing with a new mixed partner half way through). I know hes not known for mixed prowess, but thats a tough spot to be put in there. Otherwise, great podcast as usual. So good that we didnt even mind Iggy banging pots and pans in the background 🤣

Regarding overperformers, I was expecting one of you mention Allison Harris. She played great until she encountered Ben. But for an undrafted and unheralded player, she did great.

As always, when Anna Leigh doesn’t win anything without Ben,Catherine or Anna bright. She always has the best 3 partners when in a PPA tournament. Ben wins his games no matter his partner.
