Actually the P3A is $999 but just happens to be on sale for $200 off right now. This unit has a 4K camera as well and a hard carrying case included. I have the P34K also regular $999 but this unit has direct connection to the phone instead of Wi-Fi which is much easier to deal with. The price of this unit is spot on and wish I knew about it before I bought my Phantom a couple months ago although I got mine on sale for $599 so it was a great deal.

I have loved the view from the top when it flies in air... awesome....I guess I can get one of that

under $300 is what we would call a microdrone (even though, this drone is a mcirodrone in the FAA's eyes), anything cheao wont be worth it, you get what you pay for. $100 = cheap drone, $500 = pretty good stunt/race quad, $1000 = Great stunt quad, pretty decent camera drone, $2500-$6,000= amazing camera drone, and above would be big industrial drones. Youll be wating in the 500-1000 range

if you're into some tinkering and testing/playing around, you can achieve what i did... build a quiet stable (baro, gps, magnetometer, gyro, accelerometer) quad by yourself for around 300€, probably even cheaper if you only use unbranded stuff...(no gopro included (allready had one), but everything else like transmitter/Reciever, 2 LiPos, balancing loader etc.)

Thomas Wagner the new UpAir One is a 300$ quad with a 2k or 4k camera for 40$ more and it has descend specs, no smart modes like dji but it has GPS and a gimbal

Not bad for $899 - I'm an INSPIRE1 owner, but I still found that footage impressive.

+1.. I've got a inspire-1 and the Autel xStar premium... the xStar out resolve and have more dynamic range than the x3 camera.

The unit has a lot of great qualities! It looks to be flyer friendly also!

If there was a car that was 900$ would consider it affordable? yes, yes you would. In the world of quality drones 900$ isn't much.

This is a very good drone with its own special features. Camera is outstanding. And yes the orange color does attract seagulls and hawks so be careful. But orange is very visible when you're flying. The Premium model has great distance. Recommend using a 8inch tablet or bigger instead of phone. Customer service is 7 days a week and ALWAYS helpful! Happy flying.

This looks like it would be a whole lot of fun! The question that I was hoping would be answered is does it have an auto gps return programmed in so that it will auto return back to the sender's/pilot's gps location?

It's just a copy of the Phantom 4...

Also, break down the price of the parts. 4k camera- 200-400$ Battery- 80$ Casing- 50-150$ Remote- 80$ All in all, the cost that it takes it build is not a small amount. Lots of people have been wondering about this drone in 2019. To be honest, it's still 100% worth it for whatever price you can find. Everything still works great and I fly mine daily since I got it a few days ago. I paid substantially less than I would have for a DJI, and arguably got a better drone with the same camera.
