There are at least five floors above ground (plus a basement) and DCC has several employees so it must be a fairly big building. I am sure anybody that lives near the place would know which building it is by now. HOPEFULLY the group does not get doxxed, though. The group members are all very nice people and the company is full of other very nice people as employees. None of them deserve to be treated poorly.

*seen in relation to other companies...* this company doesn't have a lot of money or influence. this company does not own shares in tv or radio stations or media companies. this company doesn't have the greatest success. this company does not have a huge building complex. this company doesn't have hundreds of cars or minivans. *but* without exaggerating: this company is the best kpop entertainment company ever. the ceo is down to earth and lovable; also unintentionally hilarious. the entire staff is warm and caring. the choreographer is more of a best friend (and she's also very funny). the producers are not pompous or (slightly) arrogant. and all the female and male background dancers are also very likeable. even though there are other good and humanly behaving kpop companies... *...the dreamcatcher company is the only one i trust; to 100%* 🤟

Absolute agreement here! The company lets the members do what they want, basically as hands-off of their lives as possible and still be a professional company. People are PEOPLE, not just employees, and they are certainly NOT just a bunch of numbers. This is an AMAZING company! REALLY GREAT work atmosphere, more like a huge 'chosen family' situation. It is so awesome to see, so YES, the WHOLE WORLD needs more companies like DCC. :)

addendum... because i was so happy about insomnicsy's new video, i completely forgot the most important thing: there has never been any gossip or rumors about the dreamcatcher company. there were never any negative headlines or even scandals. there were also no letters from employees' lawyers or lawsuits in court. above all, there were never any situations in which employees or idols were treated (disrespectfully) like garbage. it's also worth mentioning that jiu, handong, dami, gahyeon, siyeon, sua and yoohyeon canceled their contracts before they expired, only to sign for another 7 years immediately afterwards. that's what you call well-earned trust 👍

It also speaks volumes that rather than just giving up when Minx wasn't going to be a big success, they decided to change direction, bring in 2 more members and totally change their concept and sound. It took awhile, they depended on foreign fans for a long time but it has all paid off - and that is in large part because of the faith of their company.

8:28 I didn't expect a sudden ear blessing session 9:38 The moment Siyeon also started following Sua, I knew Yoohyeon would join in eventually😅 This is an interesting concept. Maybe because I haven't watched complete vlives a lot, but I didn't realise we had enough footage of different company backdrops to make a virtual 'tour' of DCC. The 1st floor, especially the room with the album shelf, looks more like a themed room in someone's home. To me, it seems to have a lived-in feeling, despite its somewhat random assortment of objects and decor. Since 'Maison', Dreamcatcher have been shooting their dance practice videos in a different practice room. It has a completely different vibe, compared to all of the rooms we see here. Maybe it's in a new building?

No, DCC has been at the same place like forever. But I believe there's practice rooms in the basement (like you could see on MixNine), and now they're clearly practicing in the attic.

I die a little every time I see the bookcase full of the old albums that I don't have and that sold out years ago. I would do exactly what Handong did.😁

I love that the company doesn't seem grand or anything. It feels very.. homely? You could see the members being really comfortable in this space. Speaks volume about their relationship with the company. Thanks for putting this together ❤

That could have been from a while ago. My PS2 actually lasted a LONG time with regular use so if they have a PS4 sitting around it really does not surprise me at all. :)

While in some ways it is kind of sad to see such spartan surroundings for a group we all want the best for, it also says that the CEO isn't wasting the money from their touring on fancy spaces, and hopefully that means more money goes to the members as there is not a lot of overhead.

There is other financial stuff surrounding DCC to think about. In order to break out of the 'mid-sized-company-that-gets-ignored' syndrome and go big, Happyface had to do some real re-arranging. They apparently took out some big loans in order to get Dreamcatcher off the ground. I HOPE all of that is settled by now, alongside getting sponsors and things like Kings Raid happening for the group. I don't think anybody in DCC is actually 'wealthy' but they are all SO ENDEARING! If anybody in K-Pop DESERVES success, it's Dreamcatcher Company (EVERYBOODY involved there) just because they are NICE and they are such hard workers. I would add the members of Mamamoo to that list too, because they actually carried RBW on their backs for YEARS to get that start-up company off the ground.

@@jamescurfman3284 In some ways the company has probably been smart to stay small. One part is they have a vision for what they want to do and have found a niche that other companies don't really compete in. If they aggressively tried to get bigger, perhaps one of their bigger competitors would push into their niche more. They haven't tried to be everything to everyone by having several groups or bouncing to different concepts. They likely have little debt other than what they borrow to stage a comeback and album sales and touring pay those loans back within a year, so there isn't an ever-growing debt out there hanging over the company's head and eventually strangling any profits. The members aren't likely making the money that some of the more popular groups are, but they are likely earning a comfortable living. The downside of course, is if at some point some members decide that after say 13 or 15 years they want to move on and focus more on their personal lives and tour less, it would be hard for the company to survive. That said because they stayed small, the company can likely easily disband at that time without big debts or maybe start a new group.

I do heard the members got well paid compare to other companies. Yes it might be lesser than the big companies. But as said above, i think the members live quite comfortable enough & ceo also not really spend it out of control. Which is good 👍😊

Thank you for connecting all the pieces and making a tour for us. 🙏 I always liked in some of the earlier Dreamcatcher videos, that there were huge posters for Dal Shabet on the wall behind them, in the practice rooms I believe. I liked that the company honored and remembered where they came from, while supporting where they were going.

The beginning reminds me of when Goku first sees Grand Zeno and wanted to get closer to him, but his guards blocked him. Every time he asked to get closer/interact either him, they nod NOPE! I’m getting the same vibe as Yoo is at rofl 🤣

The benefit of a small company is that the building just feels so cozy. I liked that there's Dreamcatcher merch and their accomplishments decorating the place, but also personal items of the staff and the girls. It feels very homey. Some of the big company buildings have just SO MUCH going on inside (multiple groups, trainees, radio shows, variety shows) and many small/mid size companies share buildings with other unrelated companies, so I feel DCC is really lucky to have their own comfortable spot.

That last scene looks familiar. For those who know, knows… 😅

I really love the vibes of their company. It may not be the grandest but if not for it we won't have the dreamcatcher we have today. Such a warm and welcoming environment. The ceo and all the staffs are one of the best in the industry. They're like one big family together 🙂‍↕️✨

I have a confession. Two years ago I visited DC HQ (there was nobody around as it was a public holiday...which I'd forgotten about). At the entrance was an orange doormat with the DC logo on it. I was so tempted to steal it, then I noticed security cameras and thought better of it, so I went into the little coffee shop directly opposite for a while in the tiny hope of catching a glimpse of the ladies (forgetting the public holiday). After an hour or so I left and headed back to my part of town. Then, around two hours later, photos of Jiu appeared on instagram standing outside a restaurant which happened to be just a few yards along from the coffee shop. So, they were in that restaurant the whole time and I had no idea. I was gutted.
