I am so sorry to hear about your Uncle. He blessed you from beyond by you getting that kick-ass stereo system. I bought my Son one for his 16th birthday, from Best Buy. It was the JVC-MX- GC5 and it had the most amazing bass. It had 460 watts and the GIGA tube speakers. I'm desperately searching to buy one now. Thanks for sharing this.

JVC was 'king' especially in the early 2000s.crazy sound, mad looks and wacky light graphics. Owned two JVC hifi systems in between my early 20s....(MX KB30 & THC7) and was absolutely blown by their affordability, performance and quality.......i am with JBL now.

I feel like the J900 was the highest end of the midrange speakers JVC made. and then the gigatube stuff came out and that was their highest end stuff. along with the 8 inch tower of power stuff Edit: I think I might actually get a JVC HX-Z3 instead. PMPO is for Peak Max Power Output, it is not for the normal use. This system is 450 watts RMS. The woofers are 8 inch, you need to realize that the cone shape is what needs to be considered. it is 7 inches across, but once you have a tape measure for clothes, you will then see how the depth makes it 8 inches.

@@TheJVCguy what i mean is that gt 90 foam is hard stiff but you can replace it. With those. Soft foam normally use in speaker
