    One of Watts' biggest problems with his own teaching was how language forced him to structure his ideas chronologically, how he was incapable of creating a lecture that could flow and swirl similar to the true nature of the universe. I think if he saw today how artists have mixed and mashed his words with music in this beautiful dance, it would give him great pleasure.

    Yes, thank you! I've had this thought as well. It's clear to me that he embarked on a sort-of misson as a part of the game he chose to play in his life. Some people, impacted by his words, eventually became artists, and those artists unified by the truth just kind of came together (with or without their knowledge) and created masterpieces like these. *It feels almost as though the more people wake up to What Is, the more powerful the Flow becomes.*

  • @UndyingEDM

    @UndyingEDM

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@ryanparker6799 It wouldn't be the same without that leaf, however seeing my comment once more it's a matter of how you see this difference. Having a perspective of your own is so naturally subjective that it can lead others to misinterpretation. Personally, I have multiple perspectives, but I choose seeing this difference as insignificant - losing a cell of my body wouldn't change much - perspective over, say something like seeing this difference as big since we're talking about two separate things (the body and the body without that one cell). Surely, the only separation out there and the whole meaning that surrounds it is but an abstract creation of our own :)

For instance the desire to eat comes from experiencing hunger the desire to know more stems from curiosity which in turn leads to acquisition of knowledge. Without desire, what is left? Similarly, when we sleep, depending on our thoughts or current events in our individual lives and surrounding environment we might experience dreams that ‘fulfill’ the desires that we can’t fulfill in real life. The question therefore that would lead to understanding is, who is desiring and what if all desire ceases, what will remain? If I can point you towards the Four Noble Truths. Quite a conundrum. A blind person has no way of knowing how well a person with sight can see in the same way, a person who can see has no way of knowing how well or what a blind person perceives in the dream state. It leaves out an awareness of trust within the first 30 seconds of actual listening time. Tried over 10 times by faith and in the latest run really cannot trust this track with good spiritual feminine forward faith; as suspect; these lectures of Alan Watts may be edited out of context [for someone else's own agenda and sadly manipulated] to propagate a more perverse and desive belief pattern.

    CloseUpMissUniverse What on Earth are you doing rubbishing words that are magically inspiring and put to music that is so apt. Maybe you will understand when inner beauty becomes your priority. So sorry to say this, but I had to after listening to the track. Please use this to grow your inner self where love and compassion mean absolutely everything. Love and peace Miss Universe. When you find yourself I’m sure that you will change your name.
