Everything here sounds great, thank you for your hard work. The only thing I'm skeptical about is the enforced obsolescence of standard bulkheads, reinforced bulkheads 1 adds an insane weight %+ if I remember.

It does add weight but it’s worth it to prevent ships from flooding out very easily. Weight issues is why I didn’t make reinforced 1 also go obsolete, I know not all players always choose reinforced 2

For anyone who objects to 6" secondaries being removed... 5.9" are still a thing

I shall certainly be giving this a go, I love pre dread era, and this sounds like it will be far more realistic. Great work.

I just started playing this game a couple of months ago thanks to this channel, and I've been waiting for DIP 2 to try it. I also wanted to try the game on vanilla just to see what it was like without the mod. I didn't expect the fixes to the Naval Academy, which I had found very frustrating. Can't wait to try this (going to finish my Japan campaign first, which is in the 1930s).

Have you considered having Drachinifel back on to see what he thinks about it being (hopefully) more historical? Maybe look one of the battles in the WW2 series that went weird to see if you fixed the issues?

Drach's buddy Dr. Clarke might be willing to help out with a few things, especially on the campaign side. He seems to have a pretty good grasp of political and economic influences on naval design (in addition to his other areas of expertise). He is, however, another very busy chap.

Have you changed the campaign start so Britian controls Egypt in all start dates (and some other inaccuarices like Norway being independent in 1890 and 1900, should be part of Sweden at the time)?
