Does the r129 wiring harness fit as well?

Clint, I have a 1995 E320 wagon and need a wiring harness badly. Mercedes Benz no longer makes them. The ones I have bought online from eBay and so forth were not the correct connectors. So, my luck has been running out. Until I heard you say your harness was from a 1999 MB. Can you help me to determine if I can do the same thing? It would save me a lot of stress not to mention the money, please!

Hello. Sorry to hear about the issues you have had. The harness I purchased was not from a 1999 car, rather the manufacturer date was 1999, so I knew it was non-eco friendly. I believe everything after 1998 should be good to go. What these are, are harnesses that were upfitted to w124 cars to solve the biodegradable harness, then the car was wrecked or otherwise scrapped. You still need a w124 harness with your corresponding engine, but in a manufacturer date post-1998. Hope this helps.

The part number I purchased was 1244405632. Not sure if any other harnesses cross over, but an ebay search should get you one.
