The DRAMA Is Reaching INSANE Levels In The NBA...

Last night was insane with 3 overtime endings. Also, Victor Wembanyama was doing magic on the court, and we got a bunch more from last night’s spectacular games.
So we gotta start with the best teams in the east and the west.
With 3 and a half minutes to go this looked like a done deal for Minnesota, but watch what Jayson Tatum does here. He cuts not for him, but to set a screen on Horford’s man. This is winning basketball as Al is open and fires away to keep the Celtics alive in the game.
The Celtics got some crucial stops in the finish as Jaylen Brown pokes it away from Edwards, and Derrick White applied the pressure in the backcourt and got the offensive foul.
All of this allowed Tatum to take over in the finish, first with this strong drive to the rim, and then this:
Now Boston is all the way back in the game but Tatum didn’t stop there as he got a chance to cut into the lead even more.
Now, here’s a key moment in the game. Follow Derrick White here on the miss, beating everybody on the rebound to secure another possession for his team, and then the crowd explodes because…
With the game on the line on the final possession, you know who’s got the ball for Minnesota.
A strong drive by Edwards to get the foul and remained ice cold on the 2 free throws to tie the game.
Now Tatum has the ball with a chance to win it does he have one more shot in hiiiim, juust rims out and we go to overtime.
But JT would get his payback tho. Just watch this entire sequence in the clutch.
This was the moment that broke the Timberwolves as Boston would go on to win this thriller matchup that had a playoff type of vibe.
The Celtics have now won 18 straight games at home. Unbelievable.
We gotta go to Atlanta now for another wild finish. The Hawks were in trouble, down by 4 with less than a minute to go. But out of the time out, look at the beautiful ball movement here zipping around the court, ultimately ending in the hands of Jalen Johnson who slashes inside, dunks it plus the foul.
They get the stop on defense and with 15 seconds to go out of the time out another beautiful play on the cut here by Trae Young going inside and he gets fouled before the block, so he will have 2 free throws for the lead.
But then the drama because…
He would tie it up tho and on the final possession Trae gets a crucial stop as the help defender, swiping at the ball which ultimately went out of bounds off of Maxey.
You see on the replay this was squeaky clean, no foul here and we go to overtime.
And in the final minute with the game tied, the crowd erupts…
Then a huge block on the other end…
All of this opened up a big opportunity for Atlanta, and they were able to secure 2 free throws on this play, which Jalen Johnson converted and made it a 2 possession game with just 13 seconds to go. This ultimately proved to be enough for the Hawks to secure the win in our second overtime drama.
And we’re not even halfway there because what happened here will blow your mind.
Watch this as Derozan gets fouled on the loose ball. But on the replay you see that he tries to sell this a bit too much.
So the refs review the play and the foul call against Houston still stands, but there’s also a technical on Derozan for flopping. What?!
So in a bizarre turn of events, the Rockets shoot the technical free throw but the Bulls still retain possession. I’ve never seen this before.
Anyways, Chicago was unable to score which sets up this beautiful move in the clutch by one of my favorite players in the league.
And this is the thing that I hate about the NBA. This is out of the time out mind you, with a chance to win it, the Bulls get no movement and it’s just 4 guys standing around watching Demar Derozan go one on one.
The Bulls almost lost the game in regulation actually on this Jabari Smith three, but nevertheless we go to overtime in yet another game.
And the beginning of OT Sengun gave us some more magic.
And he got fired up about it which led to this:
Unbelievable moves from Alperen which got the Rockets a 5 point lead with 2 minutes to go.
But then, when everyone thought that this could slip away from the Bulls, Zach Lavine comes up huge for Chicago.
Then check out this chaotic sequence of events that sent the fans into delirium.
What a game! And of course another one of my favorite players that I made a video about this season puts the exclamation point on this thriller ending.
This was enough for Chicago to hold on in this one, as admittedly they got very lucky with some misses from Houston that were open shots.
Woow, let’s catch a breather for a second with this amazing pass from Victor Wembanyama.
Victor was incredible against Detroit posting a triple double in just 21 minutes. 21 minutes on the court, for his 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, and you see that he is toying with the Pistons.
This looked like he was playing at home on a mini hoop. Insane.

The other teams are guarding Alperen heavily now, and the games have gotten more physical for him. He's having to carry the team usually, but he's not being paid like it. Most of the other teammates are not on his wavelength on the court and not doing their part consistently. Alperen is expected to be everywhere and do everything and you can see the frustration building up lately. The amount of time he's on the court there's a high risk of injury, especially with Alperen's style. He's making $3.5M a year but is expected to perform like he's being paid $30M. He's tied for the fifth-lowest paid on the team. Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and Fred VanVleet are making $10M, $23M and $41M, respectively. The other players in-between are making between $6.5M to $9.5M.

yup, has the potential to be the best season since 2016! there are so many teams that surprise us like the t-wolves, pistons and so many players performing at ridiculous levels (luka especially, but also embiid and the other usual suspects). i feel like there are 7 to 9 realistic contenders right now (boston, bucks, philly, minnesota, okc, denver, clippers and maybe even the lakers and mavericks). its just such a competitive league right now. you got 5 really bad teams (now 6 becuase of jas injury) and the rest plays for a playoff/playin spot.

Love it bro. A lot of good teams in east and west really. I think nuggets are gonna win the west but wouldn’t surprise me if wolves won. I’m sure lakers will find a way to be a good playoff team I even like okc even tho I don’t think they can get past the second round. Clippers are super good too rn. But I’m kinda the same with them maybe get out the first round but I don’t think they go to deep. East is crazy with bucks and Celtics heat always find a way to be good in the playoffs as well. Bucks have been up and down a lot this year but they smoked Boston last night. Philly is real good too but I don’t see them beating bucks of Celtics in a playoff series it’s literally wide open. For like team year there maybe longer we knew bron was gonna make it in the east and warriors in the west. I didn’t even mention the sun or the mavs either of them could figure some shit out and be an awesome team it’s so entertaining this year

@PistolPete2324 Jalen Green has been the most exciting player in Houston. He is tremendous athlete with great potentials easily but what Sengun contributes for the team is better chance of winning games. He is a better shooter, better play maker, great interior presence on both ends and he has high IQ and feel for the game , making right and better decisions especially in crunch times. He has the "IT" factor to lead the team not only by his individual stats but also by making everyone around him better. You can say he is like Jokic 2.0 in the making.

That doesn't make sense. They win because they don't have good players? No, they're winning right now because their coach and his staff have been experimenting with a lot of defensive schemes that no other teams have practiced against. Their ceiling isn't very high BECAUSE they don't have a real all-star. Lauri is pretty good, but he'd be a 3rd option on half the other teams in the NBA.

There's no way that was any kind of flop unless he had eyes in the back of his head and saw the other guy coming. Brooks didn't flail his arms or sell it whatsoever, didn't look like he expected a foul call, didn't look like he even thought anyone noticed. He just glared at the other guy over his shoulder as got back into play. Tweeet, tech for flopping. Brooks mouthed off and probably called the ref various kinds of bitch, then he got ejected, then the coach got ejected... WTF is this officiating? I love seeing Dillon Brooks get stunted on, but not like this. I don't come to see refball. Now DeMar here, he gets pushed with an extended arm while in the air, and granted, he flails his arms and flies halfway to the parking lot, but c'mon. This is refball, at crunch time. It sucks. Nobody came to see officials stop play in the last few possessions so they can review footage looking for some hair-fine technical foul on a maybe-flop that affected literally nothing, because the foul he was "selling" actually happened! Fans are complaining every single night about this, and the league does nothing.

Hey Stefan, make the video about why referees in NBA stopped calling line violation on free throws... This is ridiculous how many players are getting away with it. It happens many times in basically every game. Ball has to hit the rim, before the player can go over FT line... Like in this video where Edwards is shooting on 1:40... Absolute disgrace, cannot believe how bad refereeing got over the years. I was always a big fan of NBA, but because of the poor refereeing I rarely watch games now. Keep up the good work man. ;)

People were jogging back on defense in that Celtics game when Tatum hit that 3 in overtime. Was it really playoff type basketball?

that flopping call against De Rozan was confusing if he flop so there should be no foul called against Houston and Houston will take ball possesion😂
