I’m sold on the Yin Yin Sea mod. That faction looks dope and really hope to see modders add Nippon if CA won’t.

As the founding dragons intended.

This is conceptfully what I think Cathay should actually get as DLC. Another epic Dragon Lord, either near Nakai or closer to the Badlands. Aswell, I wish Cathay were released with atleast 1-2 aggressive infantry choices, there’s so many concepts to choose from: samurai, monks, ninjas, elephants, tigers, Shugengan soldiers.

Love how you show their stats and stuff when you showcasing them. A suggestion for future mod highlights would be to hover over the units abilities icons because some of them have unique skills like Sea Dragon Hatamoto (7:21) have _Banzai_ iirc.

My question is, did they add Banzai to the samurai units? Also, the Anatsusha having Snikch’s animation (or maybe it's just Master Assasin) is too funny to me. The way to run is hysterical 😂

Thx for the mods. Interesting material. First thing I have noticed is the difficult battle at the beginning against the pirates. The ally AI should not have the fire rain rockets. AI handles that so badly. It was shooting from the deployment location across the map at the lord which was in the middle of my front line. Battle is already pretty uphill and to have your ally come in and bomb half your army from the other side of the map is painful.

For some parts (like character graphics and details) I have it on high or ultra, everything else like water, shadows, grass, I have on medium or low

@@SilverScarletSpider yeah usually only 1 lord per army, but something with the mod bugged out im guessing and let me put in all the dragon lords. Worked out for the vid I think lol

I would prefer having powerful Navy, Samurai and Ashigaru units assigned to Nippon Factions rather than Cathay Factions which would be lore-friendlier.

yin yin commands the cathayan navy. The nipponese units are mercenaries. Her province is also very cosmopolitan, with high elves, southerners and dwarfs living there.

So Nippon mercenaries hired by the Cathay?
