THE DOUBLE HEADER TRAIN FROM MINEHEAD WEST SOMERSET RAILWAY THAT WASNT
Things did not turn out as expected today but it was good to see the trains and to meet up with some long time admiralscorner viewers. I had intended to see the train again at Williton but ran out of time. I had arranged to meet Val there if she had time to get there also after taking some friends to Taunton station. She did and was able to see the same little group of admiralscorner followers and take their photo, which can be seen right at the end of this video.

Looks like you and me both were Pannier Tank chasing today Mike!. After videoing 6695 and the partially re-opened Watchet-Blue Anchor Road I set off back to Minehead with a view to Videoing 9351 set off from the Station, but when I got there the Wind was Gusting a Hoooolee, compounded by a sharp Shower, so I did a quick about turn around the Book Stalls and back to the Car. Although if I'd have known you were just at the end of the Platform i would have definitely waited for the Shower to pass and joined you to say Hi Mike!

Hi mike i hope your having an amazing day and I love your videos i actually came to the WSR in 2016 or 2017 it was a while ago if i remember and i got on the 60009 union of south africa at Westbury and i remember coming to bishop lydeheard and i think you have got a video of the 60009 but it was amazing then I got told by my dad we were staying overnight and we went on lots of steam trains and i stayed in a hotel in minehead the next morning we went to the beach all day and then we got a train to bishops lydeheard and a bus to taunton to get the train to andover were i live today but i love your videos and keep up the good work.

I wonder why it never ran! It was there ( the pannier) steaming away! You got wet for our entertainment! Loved to see fans!

It was nice to see bits of Minehead again ... such a nice little town ... pity ol' Tankie went on strike ... what was the matter with it .. did you find out ? I wonder if that little barking doggie is a descendant of my aunty's dog ..... she had one exactly like it 😮 she lived down the line in Blue Anchor .
