The Doors channel is the official KZread home of classic Doors live performances, The Doors albums, and contemporary performances and content honoring The Doors featuring John Densmore and Robby Krieger.
With an intoxicating, genre-blending sound, provocative and uncompromising songs, and the mesmerizing power of singer Jim Morrison’s poetry and presence, The Doors had a transformative impact not only on popular music but on popular culture.
The Doors’ arrival on the rock scene in 1967 marked not only the start of a string of hit singles and albums that would become classics, but also of something much bigger - a new and deeper relationship between creators and audience. Refusing to be mere entertainers, the Los Angeles quartet relentlessly challenged, confronted and inspired their fans, leaping headfirst into the heart of darkness while other bands warbled about peace and love. Though they’ve had scores of imitators, there’s never been another band quite like them.

LA Woman is one of those albums that transcend through generations, cultures and time seamlessly. It gives me the same feeling every time. Every single time.

Bonjour. 🇫🇷🍷👍

Great to see Robby and John jamming again! Can't wait to hear this version of the whole song!
People are lucky to still be able to witness Robby and John playing. Better get it while the giants tread the globe as there are no replacements.

John and Robbie together in 2021! That’s simply the Christmas present early to me!
Without a doubt one of my favourite Doors albums. LA woman is a truly rocking song.
I was lucky enough to be the guy that filmed this! My all time heros and legends
A lot new stuff in this year for fans. Thank you guys! All the best John, Robbie and Bruce.
50 years of LEGENDARY music! ❤️⭐

Treasure these guys, my friends.. They are international heroes forever and made our lives amazing better!...
Oh man….so glad Robbie and John are getting along reimagining this timeless music. They were there from the beginning were equal ingredients in the magic that was the Doors….!! Can’t wait…!!
This lineup here sounds great, they should do some club dates or online gigs. I love the intimate jazz club approach here exhibited in this clip rather than the typical arena rock type atmosphere that we are familiar with with people yelling, whistling and barfing. I can say I am a fan since 1967.

The idea sound's great but I see maby difficulty, Robby and John are people vulnerable's for this shit named Covid 19, I don't think to expose in this times.

I have too for all of 50 years. When I was just a little boy my pops brought home albums for my sister and I to listen to. He usually brought home stuff he liked like Johnny Cash, Elvis, and Sinatra. But he also brought home some of the hits from the late 60’s and early 70’s. One of those was the Doors first album . At 5 years old I was memorizing that whole album! I was a Doors fan before I even knew what it meant to be one. To this day I still love them with all my heart!

@@robert.m4676 wow that’s so cool man, thanks for sharing Robert 😃. I discovered the Doors through the internet radio and I was hooked onto Jim’s voice that I had to hear it again. And that’s where it all started.
The doors are back??? Wtf, more of this please 🙏❤
OMG! Last night was EPIC! Great concert movie! The extra footage at the beginning sounded great in the Dolby Atmos theater setting. Perfectly mixed. Depth and surround above and below like never before. Very "New" experience...like hearing these songs for the first time. It's a shame that this was a theater one off. I know people that were not able to attend because of work. It should of been screened today the 5th in my opinion. But all in all this was a once in a blue moon experience and I'm thankful that I was able to bring my parents for them to enjoy it as well :) especially my mother. She hasn't stepped foot in a movie theater since 1977... I know lol don't ask why. We will just chalk it up to never being able to find Time. But when I saw her face light up when she heard the doors concert with the theater as a medium. Let's just say technology has come a long LONG way since 1977. She amazed and completely enveloped for the duration of the movie! The Doors are her second favorite band only above the Beatles....but I could tell that this was a magical night for her.. borderline religious experience.. and I am thankful that I was able to help my mother experience that! ;)
Thank you! Your music has literally been the soundtrack of my life! So many good times listening to this song…

Creo que le bajaron el volumen a Ray, en teclado y voz y le subieron a la guitarra y batería, se escuchó muy bien.

How do you replace the best frontman in rock history?any other band I say sure but each guy was integral with The Doors, it would be like an instrument is missing, this is why thier 2 lps after Jim bombed, same music, an instrument was missing, Jims voice.

@@edwardcarmody3336 Having the original voice is key to a band who has lost it's original singer, it won't work, like if Led Zeppelin lost Robert Plant it wouldn't work with a replacement singer,
