The dooleys made some brilliant music this one is my fave but i also loved honey im lost,think im gonna fall in love with you,sad ole spanish guitar and stand up like a man

Fabulous! We danced to this in the school Christmas concert in '78 or '79, lots of practice and lots of fun, very nervous on the night but loved it. We didn't have tambourines or feather boas!! Great memories and great to see on You Tube!!

Before the people of the world turned into cyborgs and everyone became homogenised and conformist. Back then it was cool to be individual, weather you were these guys or the Sex Pistols. The Seventies was the only era where the spectrum of popular music included pure pop, glam rock, punk rock, guitar rock, disco, reggae, country and The Wombles 😀

Played a gig in Denmark with them in the late seventies. They were totally awesome...

Great to hear this on Boom radio today. A former David Hamilton Hotshot

I was also 15 and had at that time no worries... it was soooo lovely

Great track from the late summer/early autumn of 1978. I remember it well. The Dooleys made a series of quality 'MOR' singles between '77 and '80 (approx), and deserved to be more successful commercially than they actually were. I couldn't help noticing that the good Tony Blackburn - who, as we all know, was renowned for being a ladies' man during his halcyon days on Radio 1 back in the 1970's - was beginning to lose his 'pretty boy' looks by 1978. Time waits for no man, eh, Tony!

I REALLY fancied Cathy Dooley when I was a teenager. Lovely girl.

Great band who can do song's like the kind you can hear in Eurovision song contest

first heard this excellent song on a famous k tel lp.liked it and the single is in my collection.

I have a feeling this song, with its melodic Latin-American feel, was originally composed with The Drifters in mind - I can imagine dear Johnny Moore singing it. The Dooleys made some very fine records.

Some Aussie band did this first in 1974 called Jigsaw.Not the British band Jigsaw who sang sky high.

i think they were more musical and catchy,than the nolans,though i like both groups.

Somebody once said there's something 'Opportunity Knocks' about family groups but the Dooleys were a great band! Wanted was deservedly their biggest hit but this ranks not too far behind.

A band so clean and innocuous they made Brotherhood Of Man look like grunge , rumour has it they were sterilised before each performance !

It makes me sick when RETARDS/IDIOTS/DRUGGIES make worthless comments against catchy melodic pop songs while praising the REVOLTING LOUD OBSCENE Rock/metal/punk/rap/hip hop SEWAGE that is usually played by crim students to annoy all. THE BROTHERHOOD OF MAN ARE/WERE ONE OF THE GREATEST GROUPS EVER and anybody trying to criticize the Brotherhood Of Man needs to see a psychiatrist or Jailed.
