Hello everyone. I'm a Donkey Kong player from Ecuador, and i wanted to say that i recently went to my first offline tournament nearly 2 months ago at an Esports arena that recently opened a few months ago in Guayaquil. I managed to make it to 3rd place out of 62 players with DK only. At one point had an entire crowd making monkey noises and cheering on me. My biggest accomplishment yet.

Like Summit, there's crowdfunding where you can vote in your favorite players to compete in the event. And as you can probably guess based on what OP said, Junebug is campaigning to get in.

low skill floor = the worst player is really bad high skill floor = the worst player can hold their own on it A good way to remember is if you say skill is out of 100% (playing perfectly) a low skill floor means the player can drop down to 0% (useless), a high skill floor means they can only drop down to 50% (at worst you can still take a stock) for example

No one plays DK for winning but they play it for fun

I told people for years DK has been slept on but nobody listened to me. Now I’m glad Hikaru and Chunky proved people wrong especially Chunky discovering UPB oos which is amazing for 4 years people said DK has no oos options now he does and it’s viable. I hope people continue to push DK because he’s far from bottom 15!

Im not good at playing heavies but as a trapper archetype player most of the time i eat them for breakfast. Dk players are unusually skilled 4 no reason. Incin still gives me trouble.
