I remember the upstairs of the museum was set up like an attic to explore more of Dolly's life, but I feel like there was more than one set of stairs.

Thanks for the video, excellent as always. I hope this works out for Dollywood as they have spent a lot of money to put this together. I am sure there will be updates as they see what the public likes and doesn't like. I am interested to see what new shows go in. I will miss Dreamland Drive In. It was a good show and a good place to cool off.

Ryan I remember the building in the back used to be the ride simulator Thunder Road. Then it changed to another ride with Dolly flying some kind of contraption. I don't remember the name of that one. I liked Thunder Road.

We're looking forward to seeing all of this. I hope they have some great plans for the Christmas decor. Joy's favorite was on Dolly's Closet. Hopefully they keep or even improve that with it being Behind the Seams now.

That would be Porter Wagner and not Portner. I'm sure that was a simple slip up but didn't want anyone unfamiliar with him to be confused should they try searching for his music etc. I'm not big on fashion either. Heck, my attire year round is a T-shirt and shorts but, I'd be interested in seeing the different styles Dolly has worn through the years! 💙🙏🏻

Is parking the same? If you are just going to the museum do you park same place as those going to the theme park?

Yes, this is just an updated area of the theme park. You still use standard parking and need to have a theme park ticket or season pass to access it. Here is the updated tour with video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aXd7t86lYZzamNY.html

I’m pretty disappointed in this new area. Looks like there’s about 10% of the awards and trophies that there used to be. Also it feels even less accessible overall as now no one can access the second floor. Feels like an excuse to move all the awards to Nashville for whatever Dolly said she is opening there :( Hopefully they can make some changes to improve this.

As mentioned in the video there are less items than the previous museum, but I would say it is actually more accessible with eliminating the 2nd floor.

Ryan, How did Brie's surgery go yesterday? I prayed for her.

Thanks Timothy! It went well. Her mom is staying with us & is very helpful. Once I got her settled this morning, I ran over here with the girls and filmed this. She is still uncomfortable, but will hopefully keep making progress everyday!

You’re a fool then! Dollywood was named “The Best Theme Park in the world” this year by Golden Ticket for a reason. Guess you’ll never find out though.

It’s looks a bit Meh 🫤 They could have made it less museum like and more interactive like the old one which made you feel like you were apart of the story, not just a photo opportunity “air quotes” maybe a video of the experience will change my mind.

Gotta keep in mind they have to be more “accessible” now a days. People complained constantly about the useage of stairs in the old museum. Not everyone was able to enjoy the attractions in years past. 🤷‍♂️

@@FountainChannel there IS no second floor. Hence my comment about the initial museum and the countless complaints it had in the first place. Just proves my point that no matter what the park does, people will complain. It’s par for the course now.
