When I was about four and a half months pregnant with my daughter I was walking a trail I walked every day with my dogs. My older dog Angel stopped in front of me and blocked me at the trail head. She wouldn't let me by her. When I finally saw around her, there was a cottonmouth curled on the trail. Our farm is 30-40 minutes from the nearest hospital. She's an amazing dog. You don't hear many good things about pit bulls on the news, but she's a true Angel.

My boy max saw her leaving and climbed a 6 foot chain link fence and got out and literally followed her 2 miles down the street. My parents realized she was gone and got in the car looking for her. We found her 30 minutes later and max was with her the whole way. When I was a kid, I grew up deep in the Tennessee mountains. My dad brought home a pitbull puppy when I was like 4-5 and we were inseparable. That dog would have instantly gave his life for me and proved it when we were playing outside. I was picking blackberries and when i went towards one bush, Duke grabbed my shirt and started yanking me away from the bush. Then he lunged head first into the bush and started fighting a rattlesnake. The snake bit Duke's face a couple of times, but he would have done anything to keep me safe. He swelled up for about a week but ende up making it and was fine. My dad had to give him some meds he got from the vet and pretty much hand water him to keep him hydrated, but he made a full recovery. That dog would have absolutely went to war and died for me. Over 3 decades later and I still miss him so bad. Absolutely the best dog I've ever had. One of my jack ass neighbors poisoned him just because he had some feud with my dad. If my dad could have gotten a shred of evidence, he probably would have killed that bastard

For anyone wondering, this is the sequel to ‘a dogs purpose’ which follows the dog in this movie. When the dog dies, he comes back as another dog. The old man was the owner of the dogs first life, and the dog spends his life trying to get back to him every time. The little girl is his granddaughter, and now that the man is no longer a kid that needs his dogs protection, he tells the dog to protect the girl. Now he spends his life trying to get back to her. Also man realises that this is his childhood dog come back to him at the end of the first movie.

Well in fact, this movie is actually a SEQUEL about a dog who reincarnates into other dogs every time after death. That old man was his first owner when he was just a little boy. SPOILERS AHEAD!!! . . After his death as a Golden Retriever from old age, he went through a few more lives of protecting and caring for other owners before he could even reunite with his first. One was a cop whose spouse had passed away (K9 Shepherd dog, female lol). Heroicly died to save his life but tragicly, the man will miss her as she's the one who kept him in company. Another is a lonely woman who eventually found love and so did he with another dog (as a corgi). Having a habit of being fed with so many foods, and loved by the family. He ided out of depression and loneliness when his dog lover passed away first. Also starting to miss his first owner while he's about to be put down. Next thing you know, he's reincarnated to the dog you're watching on this video rn. But he was taken to a poor abusive household where the rebellious lady's boyfriend chained him up outside of their house. Yet the lady doesn't want to see him hurt, she lets her boyfriend take him out to the streets. That's where he focused on the mission of finding his first owner, who is an old man now. He eventually got adopted by him after he found his favorite flying disc toy. How did the old man found out that Bailey IS his old dog Bailey? Well, Bailey demanded his owner to do the 'trick' where he runs and jumps off his back after throwing the disc high enough for him to catch. The guy also got a complicated relationship with his old girlfriend, but they finally mended and got married. And it was a wholesome story. Worth the watch.

Once my mother went into a river to swim, it was waist high, but when she made a noise because it was very cold, our Labrador ran from inside and jumped in towards her. He looked panicked. I agree. Baliey even protected CJ from getting hurt and from her abusive boyfriend. Her mother on the other hand, stopped being a parent, even used all the money that her husband left to CJ for her own selfish needs. That moment when Bailey died as Molly was pretty intense, CJ’s ex wasn’t kidding when he said he was going to kill Molly 😬.

I've had 2 female Pit bulls, we had my first one when my nephew was little and he'd be here all the time and she loved that kid so much, I remember when he was just learning to walk obviously he would constantly fall down and my dog would follow right beside him and she would let him hold on to her to help him walk and if he went near the stairs she would run over and block the stairs so he couldn't climb them, she was so incredibly gentle with him, they really had an amazing bond.

People give pitbulls a bad name, but it's really a reflection of the owner. Cause I've seen them be some of the MOST PROTECTIVE dogs ever, and also like a nanny as you mentioned, keeping toddlers and grown ups safe. Especially the females, it's like they are born with that motherly knowledge and sense lol. It's great, they are amazing dogs to have, plus when they get all happy an lay on their back for you to rub and scratch their tummy an they smilez they are SOOOO cute!!

I was at a park and as everyone left this man who had been lurking in the trees started coming towards me and my dog 1 mile away in the 3 acre dog park came out of no where she crouched in front of me he took another step she showed her teeth and went into a prong pounce position as he kept coming shr started foaming at the mouth and went completely feral he backed up ran out the gate and as he did another dog coming in bit him fiercely. This man had ill intent. My dog never bit him but she protected me with her life. ❤i miss my Aura every day sge was truly a magical dog

When i was really little when we had a doberman and german shepherd. The doberman would pull a bit when my dad would hold his lead but when my dad handed it to me the dog would step back and stay beside me at my speed. The german shepherd would always step beyween me and other people/dogs and not let anyone near me. When i got older we had a rottweiler who was the best girl and to prove a point my dad told me to pretend he was hurting me and started shaking my arm, the dog who was never aggressive towards any of us immediately got between us and tried to protect me. Dogs really are the best protectors ❤

We had a GSD and was not allowed inside the house. My dad would kind of play like he was hurting my mom and the dog would come in the house and kind of bite him so he would get off her. Never broke his skin but that dog was always there to protect her. My dad said that's why he had that dog, to protect our mom.

@@SanSurv-Angelo dogs that normally really passive, when they see a family member pretending to hurt other family they mouth, it's where their mouth goes over them and doesnt bite, it's a way to say stop it, it's to show that they could, but besides that if your dad acutally hurt her, dogs can sense pain, and I think the dog would acutally bite. Besides that they're such a good doggo

When I was 9 yeara old, I had a younger step-sister, rory, and she was about 3. We had three pitbulls and I left the gate open one day. Rory got out of the yard and walked up the street about 3 miles, but all three of my dogs followed her the whole time. She got into this mans yard and he didnt see her, only my dogs. He got out a shot gun ans held it to my biggest pitbull, Bruces head. Bruce kept barking and charging at the man because he thought that the man was holding it towards Rory, luckly my step-dad got there and screamed not to shoot. My step-dad picked up Rory and got all three dogs back in the house. I got a pretty bad scolding but that was the first time I really saw how powerful and heroic my dogs were. Just a few months later, we got all of them into service dog training. They went with us everywhere and and helped so many people. I miss those heros so much.
