Why does Nairo only lose 2 lives when he loses a 3 stock game, but the bots lose 3 lives on the same condition? Idk the rules I guess I’m confused.

Since I have 10 stocks - Id be left with one stock in the end if I start with 3 each time. So when I had 8 stocks left, I went to 2 stocks to make it so that when I lose those 2 stocks I'd have 6 stocks left,(2 full games of stocks) 6 stocks to 3 and 3 stocks to 0 end the crew battle right there, as opposed to starting a match with that final stock only. It could be done that way tho but I just didn't just in case I fight someone who wins a whole full game 3 stocks to 3
