Yes, 4 years filming in public and it doesn't get any easier. I love how discrete this is so I may be purchasing it! Being an introvert vlogger is very hard.

I feel you, I’m the same 😫 It’s been a few months since I got it and it’s definitely made me more comfortable and efficient to film compared to my other cameras

Great review Shi! I loved that tip of the mic, I didn’t know you could use that as a stand alone mic. Also that magnet was fighting for its life 😂😂😂 can’t wait to get it! ❤

Hi again Shi, regarding your concern at 2:52, I saw a reviewer on another channel show how he overcame that, and I now do it all the time myself. You simply have to hold the Pocket 3 in the palm of your hand horizontally (with the screen facing up), with nothing attached or extended, in order to make it more discreet. Then, click the left (Joystick) button twice to cause the camera to point straight ahead. That way, it looks almost like you are looking at a phone or some other small device, but you can see on the screen what is ahead of you and whatever you wish to record. Also, should you ever wish to film anything at ground level, attach the camera via the battery handle to a selfie stick, then (before extending the selfie stick to a suitable length), turn the camera upside down. While in that position, click the joystick button twice, then extend the selfie stick. That's another nifty thing I learned- that one from a DJI Pocket 3 Facebook page commenter.

Great review. By the way mine came in just today and I bought this for my upcoming Colorado trip and Singapore trip too. I used to film with my DJI action camera but this pocket 3 is by far the best. Easy on easy off. Best feature is being able to rotate the camera lens from front and very super fast back to selfie. BEST. Thanks for the review.

Your video is nice, congrats!! I agree that the iphone 13 pro is good (I have it too...) but the pocket 3 has a 1 inch sensor, better shooting in dark places, has 10bit color, HLG, mechanical stabilization, etc. So for vloggers at the moment the pocket is the best and most practical camera. Question: Is it known that if I place another wireless microphone (hollyland) I can control the level (gain) of the volume of the recording sound? I am really in a dilemma which package to order (compo or standard) the only thing I like is the microphone (tripod small I have, battery I can connect a power bank I think) I just don't know if the microphone I have can be connected to the pocket. .

The black mist filter is to soften highlights in video or photo. It gives a dreamy effect which gets stronger depending on the strength of the filter. It also reduces the appearance of any skin blemishes.

@harroshi You're welcome. I should mention that the gimbal will not close normally with the filter attached. There are third party vendors that make thinner filters that will allow the gimbal to close properly. Be mindful before you put it back in the case with the filter attached.

@@harroshi I have a Go Pro 10 and a couple of insta360 cameras. My main camera is a Sony a7C, a great full-frame camera. But I've been neglecting it (and the big Weebill S gimbal I use for it) in favour of the little Pocket 3!

can you please help me, i can't find the answer to my question. if the DJI mic 2 is turned off, is there a way to turn it on from the pocket 3? or do i have to physically press the power button on the mic every time i want to record audio + video? thank you!!

Hi! I am not 100% sure but from my experience, I have to physically press the power button on the mic for it to record the audio from the DJI Mic 2. If I don't do that, it'll record the audio from the mic inside of the pocket 3 instead. However, if you have the DJI Mic 2 and the Pocket 3 on at the same time, there's a button you can press on the side of the DJI Mic 2 to record audio + video without needing to press the record button on the Pocket 3. So that means, you can start a recording without being close to your pocket 3. Hopefully this answer helps in some way or form!

I haven’t had any negative experience with it so far ☺️. The only thing I noticed is that the zoom isn’t that great but I was aware of that before purchasing. Which is not a big factor considering that I’m mainly using it for vlogging purposes! Otherwise, the audio and quality is super lovely. There’s so many great aspects jammed packed into such a small gadget, I can’t really complain!

Hi! The one shown in the video was the creator combo which was $669 USD (I do not reside in Japan so I’m not sure about Tokyo but there’s a direct link in my description where you could purchase it through Amazon). I believe it comes in both languages!
