I'm gonna say it. Please if you're working/planning on a new TD, pls give us TD3 with the same vibes of TD1, it was awesome and still the best. The dark atmosphere, the environment, the mood, a more contained color range and saturation compared to the 2, the feeling of post apocalyptic, "the winter".. I could perceive the cold and fatigue of that atmosphere... c'mon. But for now, thanks for this announcement and all the work you're doing.

I really liked the art direction of both of them but I prefer number two. I love when the post-apocalyptic can incorporate bright colors, neon and graffiti. It's a beautiful combination of man-made things colliding with nature. As long as they don't make it intentionally. Goofy, I appreciate the color palette being so saturated because in my eyes it tells the story of what was lost through the contrast of the colors. Now I don't know what the hell I'm talking about but hopefully it sounded good. Lol

But, considering that The Division is inspired by the literary works of Tom Clancy, a further reason why i'm fascinated by the setting and art direction of TD1 is because they also reflect more the mood of those stories as well as the post-apocalyptic-pandemic feeling

agreed, I also miss the old backpacks...

If these updates can stop the game from crashing at random for me, I would love to get back into the game. I love it but it has unfortunately been pretty much impossible to play for a number of years because of stability.

weird how different the experiences are. Have played for 40 hours now and I have encountered a single crash snd only one glitch on a mission.

@@ventiqx.1070 Played for 400h and never a single crash also. Everything started with TU 14 if i recall. Since that update, i have literally tons of crashes. No matter if i upgraded every pc part, game just keep crashing randomly. Tho i will it a go again soon (after months of hiatus), since that update looks nice.

Dx 12 makes my computer crash, dx 11 I haven't experienced any crashes, however the preformance is a little worse for me.

Disabling DX12 was the only thing that ever stopped my crashes. Annoying I can't use DX12. This has happened on all three different PCs I've used to play Div 2, under Windows 7, Win 10, and three different nVidia cards (current is RTX 3080). None of my hardware or OS differences has changed the problem of crashes when DX12 is enabled in Div2.

I've never experienced any crashes. Pushing the DLC to 2025 I'm sure will give more time to make it enjoyable. But things are getting so repitious with playing the game and tends to burn me out of it for periods of time. We need something to hold us over while we wait for the DLC. That's the prize everyone is waiting on. We need to experiences with the game instead of running the same missions over and over again. That DLC will give us that. But waiting is getting to be a bit difficult.

This is absolutely amazing news and thank you team for the work to keep this game alive and growing. I know there was dark moments and didn't know where it was going. Best news to see year 6 and know TD3 is green lit. #blessing

Siege had something similar in Operation Health. I wish the dev team all the best in their plans.

Just started playing The Division 2 last week on Playstation 5 and what an awesome time to get started as a new player. Been loving it so far and going to get into the DLC this week!

Kudos for revealing Project Resolve at the time it's actually ready/available for us to try and give feedback on -- and for not teasing/promising it months ago. Much much much prefer game companies that only tell us something when they actually have something for us to test and play rather than blowing smoke with marketing/promo.

The fact that you guys are still working on not just adding content to the game so far after release but also diving deep to revise and update core mechanics is amazing to me. In this day and age of half-assed releases and micro-transactions galore, seeing this kind of support is a love letter to the game and the community. Thank you!

This game is half assed too and shoves microtransactions in your face every event and before you even log in what you mean? Do you just ignore all of its issues simply because you like it….being a fan shouldnt come at the cost of brain processing power

I am one of the PC players of The Divison 2 that has struggled with stability, with crashes regularly, so I am very pleased to hear that these problems have become more of a priority than adding new DLC. Because of these issues, I gave the game a break for over a year now. Having previously put in over 2000 hours and many agents, I look forward to continuing soon with an improved experience 🙂

Other members of my family also have these problems with the Division 2 (using different PC in a different property) - I am pleased you haven't suffered with any problems like this and can enjoy it like I once did 🙂

@@disturbed230885 I suffered with crashes, I insist in playing in DX12 for the enhanced frame rate and lower frame latency. I found "fixes" from extensive Googling which made the game stable for me. It would appear on the surface of it that it's particular hardware combo's combined with features of Windows Defender (especially the CFG feature). But I agree the devs taking a full look at stability is more than welcome!

I absolutely love that you guys are still supporting and improving, and adding to this game and franchise! Let’s see some action set in Detroit!!!

I'm still playing after many years. Best COOP /AI / NPC game EVER! Love your work! Love perfect cover system. The Division 2 FTW!!!! I have a suggestion. Please add more visual effects for skills (there are still empty unused spaces / slots). This would be a nice change and an opportunity to include more cosmetics in the game in addition to clothing items and weapon skins.

Best interactive AI ever was in army of 2 games. I literally felt like I was playing with a online player. The npc's on division act horrible...some push who aren't classes that should push in action tactician combat. A sniper should not rush like a rusher or flank like an assualt. Mind you brutes make the faction push forward whenever they do. Don't get me started on the darn npc in the summit on legendary you have to save in some floors. Heck any hostage is horrible.

Theres a leak of information on your trello board. Its weird but it says when agents have this pistal equipped and the festive delivery bag, you can delete players, the pistal in question hasn't been released?

They have already adressed this before and said that it will most likely never happen because of the way division 2 was coded.

they announced before that cross play would be considered for TD3, but the current code of the game was built without the ability to add it to the game. in order to do it, they would have to break the entire game and rebuild it from scratch. hopefully they'll include it in the next game for sure

I would just like cross progression if anything. I would love to bring my character across all platforms, because I play with different people on different systems. So I'd love to have my Xbox character on my PC.

I was playing division 2 with my brother and we were in the inventory checking out the new costumes, after we were done we exit the menu to start playing again the sound disappeared except the sound of wind for 5mins, only to fix it self.

I'm really looking forward to continuing to play The Division 2 in such good quality and atmosphere.

Where is Heartland?

Is it possible to add option to change controller scheme to make X to confirm and O to cancel on PS5? I'm completely new to this game and never owned older PS consoles. This confuses me a lot.

Man can you imagine they bring back gear sets that help the team with buffs again. Tip of the Spear scans were kings for support buffing 8 players in raid without even running pulse, just the scan laser on guns. Imagine Reclaimer set in Div2 with the Hive or heal canister. Or actually introducing more skills for different builds through Manhunts again. That's a dream

Will we see exotic transmog in the near future as well? I get the initial idea of gear visibility in PVP zones, but there's already so many apparel items that change or remove the gear entirely. Might as well just allow it to be transmogged.

Nothing like having world difficulty set on Heroic, and opening a box and having a purple gear piece or gun in it. 😂

Spectacular I can't wait, put in the update, the snow as an atmospheric event in both Washington DC and New York City. With snow the game has an even more beautiful atmosphere.

Glad to see there's a healthy roadmap for this game. I just started playing two months ago and regret not picking it up sooner. I don't necessarily mind the DLC delay as it will hopefully give me some time to catch up.

We need more inventory space! Been playing this since pre-launch. All the gear sets and different versions of the weapon types has my inventory full. I'm reluctant to scrap anything that I spent significant resources and time modifying.

Appreciate the ongoing work on an already great game! Still I have to admit that this video didn't actually get me excited for the upcoming changes. Some are very neccessary, yes. But exciting? I struggle the most with making Optimization and Expertise easier - why is making Agents even more powerful (or make them more powerful even faster) a thing, while the Specialization rework does not seem to be a thing anymore? Or higher difficulty levels? Just see how long Paradise Lost remained difficult before Striker turned it into a walk in the park...

I don't even like the military theme but Divison 2 is by far the best looter shooter available.

Could you please fix the friends list, division2 is the only game i know of that displays agents online and agents on division2. If i have 200 friends online but only 30 of them are playing the game, its endless strolling.. 😵

Operation Health.

Now i am curious about this, I've always used system corruption for pvp, and it was perfect because i could do somthing others couldn't do while in combat, but if we all have an insta kit on a quicker cooldown compared to the instant infinite use ability with a longer cooldown seems like ill be at a disadvantage now because they can now do the same thing allot quicker. its kinda like the unbreakable talent, but you can use it whenever and allot quicker now.

Incursion got matchmaking so if u r still treating it as content not be able to be experienced by solo player that’s not correct. The upper limit of design for a multiple players’ content is just objectively higher than a content designed for solo. So u should not blame the content for it being unable to be accomplished by urself. Instead u should always blame the lack of matchmaking and communication tools for such content. If the content is designed for group play and got matchmaking, in game chat voice chat and all. U should just try to socialize urself and communicate with ur team instead of calling the content not properly designed. For online looter game, solo contents in the long run are not gonna hold comparing to group play contents.

Which means u think the content is not properly designed for everyone to enjoy. That is my logic for saying u r “calling content not properly designed. With the status effect rebalancing, please keep it to the PVP aspect. PVE status effects combat is fine.

Pls add damage buffs to specialization weapons, thrn the technician rocket launcher into the M202 flash, make the tac-50 the barret 50 cal sniper. With being in end game stage of just grinding countdown or incursion you mainly use damage or shield builds and whatever damage ruining exotics. The specialized weapons feel obsolete

All those updates are what I wanted to hear.

The only problem of what I personally has that is already five years old and they just do not make the capacity of the backpack and the camp to increase. Now a new Season new weapons will soon start new sets and we can not record anything because the place is not left at all.

I've never had a single game crash, been playing off and on for PC since the game launched. Honestly, it's an amazingly fun game and I can't figure out why it's not more popular. Playing by myself gets boring.

You should decrease INCOMING REPAIRS roolls to like 8% and make the instant med kit be standalone and heal the person for the amount of incoming repairs +10% base heal with a 10 second cooldown

Hopefully this can bridge the gap I felt coming from Division 1 to Division 2.

Hope they add more pvp game modes like last stand and an optional increased score limit for conflict i can only do so much PvE before I start going insane with boredom.

hope you guys FINALLY fix Regulus in PVP. The build has full pretty resistant shield and one shot pistol... it has to be fixed. Also high armor + ONE SHOT shotgun builds.

So did they take shd out of the dz ? Or atleast one of them ?? The level advantage of a 1500 shd vs exploited shd lvl 10,000 just the health boost over me is crazy , and that's what runs in the dz pack of super high lvl shd .. not 1 to 5k that's normal but 10k plus .. went back to div 1 after people started doing exploits

No more freaking, random crashes and im in.

Please add the option to automatically search for other players in raids in all modes, with or without a key. Because there are thousands of people who play alone, and end up with nothing to do in the game.

I recently played this with a friend and my original character crashed :/ same with the seasons and i lost a lot of progress. I wasnt super mad because its a 5 year old game but def lost some time. I ended up making a second character and finished the game. But im glad to see this game is not forgotten and i cant wait until D3. (hope we get horses, attack dogs and maybe some dirtbikes to take around the map)

It would be good if when making a new character, the Ivory keys and the Hunters' spawners reset, so I could face them incessantly.

How about you make fix the specializations. Gunner Tankier, more ammo. The more armor the hard the gunner hits. The pulse and sonar pulses the higher the crit chance and reduction in damage from pulsed targets The Firewall Specialization: the more health the stronger the shield. The more status effect stacks (fire, shock, poison) the faster the regen and with the fire damage creates threat.

I love it cuz when it first launched I bought it and didn't want it. Sold it again this was on Xbox. But after Manny years I bought it again on PC and the game is looking amazing now even to the point I regret not playing it. Good to see this game is still supported also still plenty of people playing this game.

I wish you guys would do a trilogy story release. I've played all games on release but would like a package to make it easy to entice my wife to play

That's the open world/exploration aspect of the game. Collecting all the tech allows you to unlock all perks and ability variations. It's an exact number, just like with finding collectibles.

after seeing some of these comments... im lucky to be playing on console, lol. ive only been playing the game for just a few weeks, and its already cemented itself as one of my favorites. so glad that yall still update this, cant wait to see where it goes. GGWP.
