I knew a woman who had age regression from a rough childhood and she wasn't anything like Nova. She acted very childlike but it was never a kink and she never spoke with underage kids... It also seemed like even she was unaware of it at times. I definitely think Nova is just into ageplay

actually on the contrary, being mentally disabled would be the ONLY time it could be passed as excusable to an EXTENT. these people who are disabled genuinely do not know right from wrong, meaning they dont know any better, and their "creepy" actions to us and the rest of the normal functioning world, seem normal and genuine to them...it would be irresponsible to hold them accountable, the person to be held accountable should be their caretaker, for allowing the person to be put in a situation they shouldnt be in to begin with. same goes for people who are mentally unstable, why do you think murderers who are clinically insane dont go to prison or get the death sentence, because theyre technically unfit to understand what they truly did, they dont actually know right from wrong, hence why theyre sent to facilities for the mentally unfit, rather than a prison. so to clarify, i dont condone of the nasty actions, BUT i do think it would be vile, and unfair to ruin someones life, and send them to prison, or harrass them online day in day out, when they truly do not know better, if anything, i think its more vile to ruin the innocence of those people, because after all, THATS why we dont want adults to take advantage of children, its gross, inhumane, and youre robbing that child of their innocence, these people are still children in their minds, same could be said for them. --- Let me ALSO re-clarify, im speaking on mentally unfit people, with disabilities, not your average joe who thinks kids are attractive, thats an ENTIRELY different story, and those people are sickening. i havent watched the video yet, ive only scrolled down and seen your comment, but i want to say, the person im using as an example is that "johnny elbows" guy, not sure yet if hes in this video or not, but that was the guy i was thinking of when i wrote this out. EDIT: ok he is in the video lol

I dated a man like Jupiter when I was in highschool. He believed he was a dragon, did rituals for powers and stuff, and I regret not saying anything to anyone. He claimed to see them and everything and he was a dark troubled person. He thought I was his dragon princess, I never said anything. He passed away from self inflicted wounds this year. I just had to put it out there, see something, say something please.

Thank you too all the people in the comments who are pointing out the differences between Age Regression and Age Play. Nova is definitely doing this as a fetish (Age Play) and not as a coping mechanism. As someone with PTSD who has been age regressing for a while after a therapist recommended it to me I immediately got uncomfortable when he started talking about Novas regression. People who Age Play give regression a bad rap.

Hey, I just thought I'd clarify this. Considering I'm a college student studying Psychology. Age regression (while unfortunately practiced by this tik tok creep Nova), isn't something someone can "suffer" with. Nor is it a disorder or anything of the sort. Though it can be a symptom of something it is not all by itself. Age regression is typically used as a coping mechanism. A healthier way to recover from childhood trauma. It is used by therapists at times to help those recover from truama. Though at times it can be a subconscious response. It can also be a conscious decision! I would also like to state, just because a person is within a regressed headspace. They shouldn't communicate with children younger than them. This isn't a common practice or because of his Age regression. This is simply because Nova has made some seriously poor choices. Age regression in any capacity is not a kink. (Just like everything though, I would like to state. Everything is healthy within moderation.) Just for anyone who was curious as to what age regression was.

My sister deals with a lot of symptoms of age regression and I can tell you this it is not at all like that. She seems pretty normal in general but there’s just a few things that just kinda seem off like when a kid tries to act a lot more mature than they are. She kinda forgot how to be an adult but that doesn’t mean she uses gogo gaga talk, sometimes when she’s really stressed when she’s faced with reality she’ll kinda baby talk but overall seems pretty normal. She just can’t comprehend some basic adult things but we all have our issues and deal with them differently. It’s sad watching my big sister become my little sister and kinda having to watch out for her but also I can’t because she’s an adult woman and doesn’t understand why she needs help with certain things. Not really like this guy. It really bothers me seeing people who fake disorders all the time on tik too because the people I know who suffer with them aren’t doing it for fun.

I am SO glad someone talked about the side of Cringe content that is just straight up bullying. Like I don't like "cringe" videos that have children in them, children are pure cringe because they literally are still learning social norms/expectations so it just doesn't count, like part of what makes it cringe is the person is SUPPOSE to know better. There is also a whole section of the community that just makes fun of neurodivergent people/behavior, which is so gross. I think maybe in like 2017ish when cringe content really took it off it just became over saturated and that muddied the understanding/connotative definition of it because the majority of content I see labeled as cringe now is children who don't know better living their lives or people on the spectrum, usually just discussing a hyperfixation/interest of theirs and maybe as a result of that cosplaying in some way, which to me is just not cringe at all, it's just cruel.

Jesus the guy who likes to act like a baby brings back a bad memory! Back using tinder I was speaking to a girl who was the age of 22 and I was 24 at the time, we spoke for about a week until we moved over towards WhatsApp. She seem extremely nice and was a very attractive woman. Although I was not expecting her “fetishes” when she brought up the question. I had no idea what she was on about till she asked me if I used Tumblr (yes this was that many years ago) I said never used the app. She then links me her account and said “this is what I’m into, I know it’s not everyone taste” so I clicked it and it was all her in nappies and dummies and children’s toys! My final words to her was “I’m sorry but that is not normal, you need to seek help if you consider that a fetish, or maybe consider that is quite worrying if you’re acting like a child to attract them” then blocked her number. She was the soul reason I’ll never use online dating apps again.

There have been times I've age-regressed as a means to cope (I have a lot of childhood trauma lol) and a lot of the time I didn't even realize I was doing it. There are a lot of times when I want to age regress when I am upset but can't because of the situation. Age regression isn't a bad thing (I'm in therapy so I'm doing better) it's just a coping mechanism. I feel like Nova is fetishizing it more than he's using it to cope. (a lot of people who age regress don't use diapers or talk about them, they will mostly behave like a child ((such as talking like one or coloring like a child)) age regressors also will not publicly talk about it or share online unless they are in a safe space or spreading awareness) I'm 99.99% sure his is a fetish.

A note on Paul from the perspective as a resident in a group home type setting- yes, it is important for me to have a sense of trust with staff so that I feel comfortable being honest and asking for what I need. HOWEVER, and this is important, if someone took it up on themselves to "show affection" by kissing me on any part of my body (forehead or cheek it doesn't matter), I would feel so incredibly uncomfortable. It would put me in a position of being too uncomfortable to say something because I wouldn't want to change the relationship we had. I also wouldn't feel comfortable enough to tell someone else that I was uncomfortable because I would not be sure there wouldn't be retaliation. I also wouldn't be comfortable in my living situation anymore. People don't realize how much autonomy and freedom you lose when you enter into a setting like that. There is a power imbalance and "affection" of that kind can blur a really thin line. No matter the intention or logic behind it, even if it's "innocent", is inappropriate and predatory. These people likely did not consent to that kind of behavior, I can guarantee you he did not ask them if they would be okay with it, and vulnerable adults need to be protected. I'm sorry if this is long, so I'm grateful if you've read this far.

And legit your brain doesn’t regress you just find comfort in the things from your childhood I don’t become 3.

I remember once hearing that stuff like this has been going on for ages but in the era of the internet, it's just wayy more public.

i’m going to assume it will be the same outcome as a case in my home town. a dude that was 20 and a super senior at my high school was caught talking to very underaged girls & was arrested. about 2 weeks later he went to court and was let out, charged with nothing because of his “mental illness” and returned to my highschool the next day.
