Hey Justin - You certainly scored on this room. This is the ole' "Bullet at the Haunted Mansion and Mine Train Bear Attack" guy. Just so you know, I left Disney to become an Apprentice Electrician in 1973. In 1978, after graduating and becoming a Journeyman Electrician. I became a foreman on the construction of the building you are staying in and my crew was responsible for all electrical from 2nd to the top floor, including the room you are staying in. At the time, and maybe it still is, it was called the Bonita Tower addition. It was named after Bonita Granville Wrather, the wife of Jack Wrather, who, in conjunction with Walt Disney, built the first Disneyland Hotel which are the small, one story, brick villas on the east side of the property next to the monorail station. Walt's credit line was tapped out so Jack Wrather built the hotel and Walt put his name on it. Later he refused to sell it back. It is now owned by Disney. In addition to Wrather Construction, he was also a television producer responsible for The Lone Ranger, Sergeant Preston of the Yukon and Lassie. He also owned many radio stations including KFMB in San Diego. So you can put that in your trivia bag. Also, congrats on a successful Valentine's Day.

This video was so touching. It brought me to tears. Seeing the hotel room brought me back to when I was 7 years old and took the first and last family vacation I ever had with my family. Part because we couldn't ever afford to take any vacations together and part because not long after that my parents divorced. It brought me right back there to my first time ever at Disneyland and enveloped me with the purest most fulfilled joy I have ever known of being in such a wonderful place with my family as a whole. What a lovely memory this will make for you guys. That hotel is something simply magical.

Man, your story really hit home for me. I also lost everything during my divorce. My house, car, daughter, everything! I had to sleep in my friend's car while he worked 3rd shift for weeks. But with hard work and support from others I am now married to an awesome woman, I got my daughter back and I own my own home and 2 cars paid off. And to top it all off... I am taking my family to Disneyland in December 2019!!!!! Keep strong brother and keep fighting!!

Awe, I'm about to cry happy tears for you Justin. I went to the Magic Kingdom for the first time last month and now I understand Disney magic, it's real!!!! I even got to catch the first public drone show, which made me cry twice as it was Christmas themed. I haven't been able to enjoy Christmas for several years, and that did it. Magic!!!!

Your happiness just brought back memories of my first visit to WDW last year. That feeling when you're on the upper floors of the Disneyland Hotel was like me when I saw Spaceship Earth for the first time after seeing it on TV twenty years ago as a little kid in the 90's. That joy and euphoria is just indescribable.

I often come back to watch this video. I don’t really subscribe to KZreadrs accept for this account (which a randomly stumbled on a few years back) but I found Justin so interesting as he knew so much and focused on the smaller details which is what I love. I’m so glad he’s had this success and been able to make all these videos that bring me joy.

I used to spend a lot of time at that hotel when I was a kid. We would walk over (I lived one street over from your Mom) and for $2 we could take a ride in the nose of the monorail. They locked us in, but it would circle the park & bring us back to the hotel. Staying at that hotel is on my bucket list. This video made me cry for a lot of good memories. As someone who always saw the negatives, the downs, the worst moments as the biggest moments. You have been a huge inspiration to not only me, but my entire family as well. There can be a lot of difficulty and it may take a long time to crawl out of the bottomless pit life throws us in but it's not all bad and sometimes it can even be wonderful. March 31,1992 a man decided he would end my children's Mothers life , She was the center of our lives daughter 16, Son 14 ,but we found out though forgiveness (the man was caught by Americas Most Wanted 14 months later ) by forgiving someone no matter what they do to you releases you from the hurt and anger that can come from the events ,which we did a the trial .Thanks for all you do in share with people ,your soft heart ,don't ever stop being JUSTIN!

scratched the Disneyland hotel off my bucket list in 2015. Stayed in the Adventure Tower. faced downtown Disney. channel 16 of I remember on the tv will tune into the fireworks playlist for when the shoot off fireworks. say back on the 7th floor with our 18 month old watching and listening to that show in comfort.
