    Imperial Knowledge It's still unclear whether there are humans in Akavir right now. There is lore debate about the meaning behind 'Consumed the men of Akavir' and such. ESO should add in Akavir bit by bit. You could rehearse until the dialog runs smoother, just a suggestion.

    The constant weather issues are too huge and common to be sheer circumstance; I'd say it's a very safe bet the Tsaesci wield strong weather magics. You mentioned Clear Skies, but Storm Call is an even more direct example of such things already clearly being possible for those who master the right magic.

    but those are shouts and i dont think shouts count as magic because it can only be used by dragons and dragonborn so it might be just very shity akavir wether.

    Shouts can be used by people. Kyne was said to have taught men how to use shouts and they used them in the past. Ulfric stormcloak displayed the ability to use shouts too. It just comes naturally to dragons and the Dragonborn

  • @aceclover758

    @aceclover758

    They probably know shouts, as shouts are not exclusive to dragons or the Dragonborn. The latter 2 can just naturally learn it as common as someone can walk or breathe. Normally, it takes a decade of training just to master a “common” shout like Unrelenting Push.

  • @Roshambo920

    @Roshambo920

    Activision & EA, Twin Pairs of Destruction shouts come naturally to dragons and the Dragonborn, but I believe only the races of men can learn how to use them through training. I don’t think that Elves or beast races are able to do so since it was said that Kyne only gave it to man.

  • @aceclover758

    @aceclover758

    @Roshambo, the Dragonborn can be anyone sentient otherwise, they would not have let you have any race as a Dragonborn. So any sentient being, men or beast, can learn Shouts. Man were just the first to be introducted to them.

    Sean Conley The tsaesci are humans. These rumors of all people being eaten are just that. Rumors. speculation. The Akavir that invaded the empire were all men. one example is Sanct Tor or whatever. the ghosts there are Akavir invaders, and human.

    Look at me Im de captain now; I know, just following the snake theory and saying that it might not be right is all. I have an idea that the Tsaesci have an ability like the Cold Harbor Vampires in Skyrim. (like Harkon and the Dragonborn) where they can turn from a humanoid form to a bestial one (vampire monster thing). What if the Tsaesci can do that? Could explain the humanoid akaviri and them riding horses.

  • @saintsauce853

    @saintsauce853

    Sean Conley yeah that's a good theory. Another assumption could be they are just a race of men who are cannibals and their armor resembles snakes. they probably don't even eat people or are vampires at all. it's all rumors and speculation. hopefully one day we will know the truth.

    Also the lore on the Wiki from what I've seen is from the in game lore. It gives locations on where to find the information. Usually the Wiki is trustworthy but I could see why you don't find it trustworthy

  • @ImperialKnowledge

    @ImperialKnowledge

    7 жыл бұрын

    I find it trustworthy, My method if I do not know anything about a subject is: - Check wiki, Do not read the text - Check references - Look up references in game The wiki is trustworthy, but sometimes it gives unverified information or misinterpreted information by it's writers. It does not happen all the time, but it does happen. For everyday research the wiki is okay, but if I really want to answer a question right or make a good video I think the best method is to check all references myself and then make my own script instead of plainly copying the wiki.

    Anybody whos a bit knowledgable about magnetism and the cosmos knows that earth has a magnetic field and when a solar storm hits it, it hits the magnetic field at one part and causes a discharge at the place where there are weak magnetic presence. This is seen in the north as the aurora. However after messing around on the dragonborn dlc i looked up and realized that mundus is nothing like earth and the aurora cant be a magnetic thing in tamriel. I havent been able to find much on this however so this probably would be a hard thing to make a video on. Maybe backlog the idea until you have a lot of small mysteries to look at

  • @TheBacknblack92

    @TheBacknblack92

    6 жыл бұрын

    FloorPannel the Aurora in the games is caused by magic radiating down to Nirn. When the Magna-Gi and Magnus realized that theyd lose power in the creation of Mundus they left tearing holes in the plane of Oblivion. The holes are the stars and the sun is the giant hole created by Magnus leaving. All magic comes from there. Sometimes the magic is radiating down especially hard at night and is seen in the atmosphere as an Aurora. This is also why the clear skies shout causes one because you're basically sending a bunch of concentrated magic into the atmosphere which causes a reaction that makes the event happen

You'll find that the stories and events surrounding those battles are much more interesting than the dry take history teachers usually have on it.

    Tsaeseci is based off japamese society. This is repeated in lore, and you can find shonen-esque armor of the tsaesci (samurai looking). In japan, T infront of an s is entirely silent (ex. Tsunade is pronoumced (Soo-ná-day) in Naruto). As the Tsaesci are based off ancient japan, this naming scheme is likely consistent. Thus, the T in tsaesci is silent, and you get (Say-Ski)

    What I find incredibly odd is that when the tsaesci invading Tamriel and then fell to Reman’s voice proclaiming him Dragonborn, why didn’t it happen here? All along the septim bloodline are Dragonborn and surely during the negotiations or in battle Uriel would’ve spoken correct? So why on earth didn’t the tsaesci bow down to him? Or is it that with reman they did it to save their skin.

    That’s a really good point but I think the best explanation is that we honestly know little to nothing about the tsaesci. There history, overall culture, politics, etc. It’s entirely possible Reman’s Tsaesci army didn’t represent the greater Tsaesci race and that perhaps they were a “radical” group or something that left Akavir in search of the Dragonborn. Another explanation could simply be Uriel was invading their homeland and they were already pissed off

    I gotta figure the Tsaesci manipulated the weather patterns, personally. The timing was too perfect for both the storms that destroyed a portion of the eastern fleet, and the dry winds that ruined the colony's harvest in the spring/ summer. Fleet gets turned back right before the attacks began, then right when crops become necessary and rations run low the heat ruins said crops. Leaving just enough time for a retreat, but not to return before winter in theory. Both cases weaken imperial forces too drastically to appear as simple bad fortunes or peculiar climatic patterns, for me. Also, didn't the Sloads do something similar before sinking their island? Either way if they could change the land that dramatically, doesn't seem a huge stretch to think magic could affect weather. Then as already mentioned there were the clear skies and storm call shouts.... and Alduin's meteor storm shout that I was always jealous of. Also could explain in part why the Tsaesci retreated and didn't send larger forces to attack the colony. No need when magic can neutralize enemy forces without losing as many of your own troops. Seems the biggest mistake for the empire was bringing the civilians instead of more troops, weather aside. Does raise the question however: If akaviri mages could affect weather in their homeland, why not do so during their invasion of Tamriel?

    Also had made the comment about 11 minutes into the video so there's a couple of details left out. Still seems the emperor and his army was being toyed with or just outplayed strategically, logistically as well if the weather patterns were deliberate.

    Should have landed on the island next to the mainland to utilize as a base of operations for the invasion. Even when they lost all settlements on the mainland they could at least have a rally point for troops and citizens to fallback to. Not only this but the enemy would have to use ships to assault the island unless the Tsaesei can breath underwater however like many things no official accounts have been made on what they are capable of.

  • @thedemonhater7748

    Why didn’t the empire take the island off the coast first? It would’ve been a hell of a lot easier for them to hold, and would’ve given them a rally point to fall back on.

    Shouts are a form of magic any sentient race can learn but only dragons and the Dragonborn can learn it as naturally as one breathes. Other than that, it takes a decade minimum to learn just one “common” shout. Some Shouts take a decade to learn one word of it.
