    Wow. This is very important information. This is the second time in a week I have been informed about this, both by physicians with evidence based science/research to back it up. I think the universe is telling me something. I was shocked at the horrendous cruelty to the cows by the dairy industry, but the fact that I shouldn't be consuming dairy is mind blowing. I stopped eating dairy a week ago and feel better already. I have less "brain fog" and way more energy. I also cut out sugar starting yesterday. I'm going to do this for a month to see what happens.

    Thank you so very much, Dorothea. The sad truth is that menopause is THE most neglected topic on Earth. I am the first and only person to ever provide an education on it to women. If you start with the very first video and watch them all in order, I assure you that you will understand everything AND erase all your misconceptions along the way. My dream is for all women to get this education in their 20s and 30s.

I'm not a baby cow!!! People always tell me to take a pill or drink the lactose "free" milk... why? I don't need animal products! My own doctor for goodness sake. I'm glad you are breaking the barriers. I shall share your videos with as many people as I can You are a gift. Thanks so much for all you do

    Hello Dr. Taylor, I found you through Dominique and Angie at Hot and Flashy and have been watching your videos for the last few weeks from your first video (in order!). This is the first time I’m reaching out to comment and say hello! My husband has been wondering what has been capturing my attention lately, especially because I literally guffawed out loud when you walked into your kitchen on this video. Moo! Thank you so very much for sharing this important information, and in such an entertaining way that I can understand and retain it. You really speak to the nerd in me who likes to research and understand the details of how things really work. Your videos has spurred on some wonderful meaningful conversations with my husband about what I’ve been experiencing and what I’m going to do to manage it from this point forward. You are truly a godsend and I am so thankful that you are here and helping so many women like me. I’ll keep watching as long as you’re here.You are truly appreciated!

    They're impressed, I assure you. They just aren't used to having a patient who has credible information. Most only have what they found on the Internet or what they "heard" from girlfriends and Alternative & Complementary practitioners. You're a good student and a good patient.

  • @MenopauseTaylor

    @MenopauseTaylor

    6 жыл бұрын

    If you going to Alternative & Complementary practitioners (Naturopaths, Osteopaths, Integrative Medicine Doctors), they will offer nothing but progesterone. And they're probably even selling the progesterone. They will also tell you that estrogen is dangerous. If you go to a Traditional Medical Doctor (M.D.), the ones who are not gynecologists will not know much more the the Alternative & Complementary practitioners. They may tell you that estrogen is dangerous, also. But they rarely push progesterone. If you go to a Gynecologic Menopause Specialist, they'll know more than any of the others, and they will tell you the same things I tell you. If you live in North America, you might have a menopause specialist near you. Here's how you can find one: Go to www.menopause.org (North American Menopause Society). Click on the tab "For Women." Click on the drop-down menu item "Find a Menopause Practitioner." Put in your zip code. All the menopause specialists near you will pop up.

    Question: I know with gluten, even if you have the tiniest morsel, you've done the same amount of damage as a whole piece of cake. Is it similar with milk? Or is it better to eat small amounts than "normal" amounts? (With the best being none.)

  • @MenopauseTaylor

    @MenopauseTaylor

    5 жыл бұрын

    Video 114 is on gluten. Your statement is not entirely correct. It all depends on the degree of gluten sensitivity. That's true with anything, including milk. With milk, you're forcing you body to continue TRYING to produce an enzyme (lactase) to digest the milk sugar lactose. It's completely unnatural. With gluten, depending on the degree of sensitivity to gluten, it's more like an allergy. Gluten is something you are supposed to be able to digest your entire life. Those who can't have either a genetic mutation or an allergy to gluten. With milk, you are not supposed to be able to digest lactose beyond breastfeeding. You're forcing your body to digest something it doesn't want. It's not an allergy. It's not a genetic mutation. Humans, like other animals, are supposed to stop ingesting dairy when they can eat solid food.

    I am 10 years into menopause and very poor. I live on peanut butter, white bread & canned veggies. I like green beans. This was very informative, I eat meat & cheese about once a month & it's a treat my mouth waters for all the time. The commercials on TV kill me. I can't afford internet or cable so every channel has all these commercials. I agree with others on wanting to know what you eat but I would like to know the why you eat that as well. That would help me decide on better treats to splurge for. Right now Burger King is selling these tacos for $1 and I have been super drooling over them but I don't have $1 cause it's summer & I had to pay electric & from your video that's probably a very good thing. A what you eat & why you eat that would be greatly appreciated.

    6 жыл бұрын

    In the context of all the things people eat that come from animals (eggs, milk, honey) and all the animals they eat, I don't know why horse urine is any different. First, it's sterile (alluring is sterile unless it's infected). Second, you're only ingesting a time little pill of it, much less than any other animal product. I don't like the words "better or worse," "good or bad," right or wrong" when it comes to options for menopause. The fact is that everything, absolutely everything has both advantages and disadvantages. Most decisions are based on preference. So. I think Premarin and Estradiol serve the same purpose and you are going to get the desired benefits with either one.

  • @MenopauseTaylor

    @MenopauseTaylor

    All "weight-bearing" exercise reduces your risk for osteoporosis. It does not PREVENT it. "Weight-bearing" means anything that puts weight on your joints. So, all exercise qualifies for "weight-bearing" except swimming. That's because, when you swim, you take all the weight of your joints. All diseases have a list of "risk factors." Risk factors are things that increase your risk for a disease. The more risk factors you have, the greater your risk. The fewer risk factors you have, the lower your risk. With eery disease I cover, I'll give you the list of risk factors. That are all in my Menopause book in the individual chapters for each disease.

It's very simple: If it has a face or a mother, it's considered animal.

    Is greek yogurt bad for you?

    Now this is where people get into trouble. You're making this too complicated. It's all very simple: If it comes from an animal, it slows your transit time and causes diseases, period. It doesn't matter if it's Greek, or goat, or organic, or free range, etc. Don't let specifics fool you. Yogurt is yogurt ... whine means it's dairy ... which means it does all the detrimental things that dairy does ... period. The only exception is if it's NON-DAIRY (like soy milk or coconut milk or rice milker almond milk).

    Yes, we can do it on Facebook Messenger. Just go to my website and schedule it there. Indicate that you'll be using Facebook Messenger in the space for telling me all about yourself & what you'd like to discuss.

    Ha! Well, thank you! Most people who eat dairy are addicted to some aspect of it. That LOVE is the addiction.

    Here's an interesting fact regarding my history of drinking milk. Growing up my sister and brothers opted for pop instead of milk. I on the other hand drank milk as my only beverage because I wanted to have strong bones later in life. Fast forward to present and I have osteopenia and my sister doesn't and she was the unhealthy pop drinker! My mother has osteoporosis and did not drink much milk because she didn't like the taste. She was a huge instant coffee and cereal fan, which is where she received her intake of milk.

    Shocking, isn't it! The countries with the highest dairy intake have the poorest bone health. It's just the opposite of what most people expect, given the brainwashing about the "benefits" of dairy.

    Omg, you are a hoot, ha ha!!! That outfit! 😂😂😂 Yes, dairy is awful! It is so constipating and addictive. And distegulates ones own hormones. Life is much better without. 🙂

    Unfortunately it seems almost every industry is built around deception and made to seem beneficial. Commercialism is a somewhat necessary evil for the time being. Moooooooo! 😅
