The difference between TOUR PROs and YOU!
Спорт
The biggest difference I see in Tour Pros vs the weekend warrior at your local course, is that the pros are transferring much more of the club's energy into the golf ball at impact. Discover how they're doing this and learn some unique drills to help you start transferring more energy into the ball with your shots!

Another excellent drill. Not the first time I've seen or heard about it but reminds me to get back to it. Thank you!

best drill I've found on KZread so far...I practice this even for chipping, finally trapping ball and consistent chips every time. amazing
I was struggling with my swing this year. This video single-handedly fixed my swing. No more hook, no more thin shots. Thanks.

Just discovered your videos Clay. Only been playing a few months and play off 32. Have a horrible slice at the moment and looking to fix that. Your videos and analysis of what's going on are bang on. Lots of useful drills and tips which I will be trying out 👍🏼 Keep up the good work

I watched all your videos and my bad swing had all the faults you described. I stand up and behind goes towards the ball on my downswing. My fat shots and my hands and shaft are behind the ball. My hips are closed at impact. I finally figured out why I can't turn properly on my downswing. I put all my weight on my toes and balls of my feet. I move my weight back to my heel and I can finally turn my hips properly. Wow, this one little changed corrected everything. Just wanted to share. Thanks for all your videos. Keep it up!

I think the number has been recalibrated by Malcom Gladwell and is now 100,000. Outliers is the book where this notion first appeared.

Hi, its the same thing. You just don't hit the ground and let the club work up into the ball.
If you want to be good at golf, practice this drill all the time. My best rounds are when I've gotten this feel engrained. And remember it's golf, sometimes you just can't grove this feeling. But stick with it you will improve!

I just watch few videos before today's 9 hole and it is super usefull.
Hey Clay, I been following this video and your “have you been hitting a irons wrong your whole life” video and I’m definitely seeing what I’ve been doing wrong. As I’ve been incorporating your drills (tennis racket included) I noticed I’ve been shanking a lot of balls lately. Any idea what it can be?
@TopSpeedGolf

It's likely from your hips moving toward the ball. Try to keep the hips back and out of the way so you can have space to swing the club. Play well! Quentin | TSG Instructor
I play hockey left handed I have played some golf left handed but most my golf right but wondering if maybe left in golf is the way to go

Hi Rick, you're probably better off sticking with what you started with. It's possible that you could be better from the other side though. Something to try. Play well! Quentin | TSG Instructor

Played hockey at a pretty high level and it’s embarrassing that my 6 iron is only going 100 yards right now and everything is just going high with no distance. My drivers and woods are all decent but my irons are bizarre rn

I am kind of disappointed here Clay. When you actually shoved the ball using that drill I fully expected to see it go at least 150 yards. ; ) Thanks for the latest tip. Since that is with a iron it is something that can actually be done indoors if the weather is wet outside.
