I'm an middle aged dude. 47 years old. I like metal. I don't like One Direction. I'm a big fan of Harry Styles, even though I'm not a huge fan of his music style. I didn't really know much about him until I heard his cover of Sledgehammer on Stern, and I was absolutely blown away. That sent me down a rabbit hole, and that's where I learned more about who Harry Styles really is. When you get to be my age, you really understand the value of a person's character. People who buck the trends of what's 'expected' or 'normal' or 'socially accepted'. Harry is one of these people. His talent is undeniable. He's charismatic and handsome. He's worshipped, yet he doesn't take himself too seriously. He genuinely sees his fame as a tool he can use to spread love and compassion. This man is a rare commodity, but the world sure could use a lot more people like him.

How could anyone hate him??? He’s literally the most wholesome human being I’ve ever seen! I love that he tries to spread kindness everywhere he goes and actually cares so much about his fans. We definitely need more people like him in this world♥️

When He came to Argentina, a little girl got scared because everyone was pushing and hiting to get in the front and He saw her (she was just next to me with her mom, I was trying to keep the girls away from her) and He literally went down with some drumsticks and He gave them to her, He said to her a few warm words and She starting to laugh so happy and He thought I was her sister and said to me something about doing a good job protecting her and I was so shocked that I just nod a long and scream some kind of a thank you and then He smiled to us the rest of the show... I knew he's from that talent show (X Factor or British Got Talent or something, I forgot), I've always think he's the most good looking one from that boyband 1D, and I'm too old to even know his songs (maybe I've heard some but I don't know it was his), but this handsome, humble, kindhearted young man gave something meaningful to the world today...such a good person who worth to be idolized/copied by kids. This is such a great comment. I love that you separate a musician and his music. I mean everybody likes a different type of music and that's ok. But you can't hate Harry Styles because of his music. He is one of the best human beings of all time.

I’ve also noticed that in the past it takes a tragedy to bring people together. Like, why not just always show love and kindness everyday but then also when it is needed most. That’s a world I wanna live in. Where everyone is accepted, no matter what colour, religion, sexuality or race. Love and accept each other. And be kind to one another ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

This reminded me of the OneRepublic concert, when he noticed a girls sign. He learned well from OneRepublic. While I was at the concert the main singer said that he actually write a few of OneDirections songs, and he sang a song for this woman talking about how one of his songs saved her marriage, I love when singers notice the smallest things in the crowds ❤️☺️
